Recently, at Punggol block 984 it seems like there's many wild dogs who got "caught" by SPCA. Although it is not clearly stated that what they are going to do with those dogs, however it is quite obvious that the poor dogs will probably go into deep sleep, as it is almost impossible for the government to take care of the amount of wild dogs in Singapore itself. (This article is being published in the Lian He Wan Bao [16.11.2014])
It is also stated that the residential there are not very happy with what the SPCA are doing, and how they are dealing with these types of situation. So, i wish to voice my thoughts what Gvt. & the pets lover could do regarding this issue.
-Establish an area meant for these type of homeless puppies, those who are keen to look after the dogs can sign-up and visit the dogs as often as possible. Play, feed, take-care and ensure that the dogs are happy. Provide, donate and lend a hand to create a home for the dogs. If finance is the issue, join your strength and love for these puppies and create a real home for them. If there's no one who is willing to take part, then i guess the only way to handle these dogs are to allow the government to handle.
Thanks.
The govt dived into it without pausing for serious consideration. He wanted 6.5 million... What was he thinking...
And what is the overall quality of foreigners we're bringing in here.?
Let's just hope this island won't sink.
Best they dun plan. The make it worse.
Of course they could have planned better lah. I don't see spreading your legs wide for any tom, dick & harry to come in, a plan. Anybody could have figured that out i.e. using "artificial" growth in population numbers to sustain economic growth.
