If say the whole of Singapore's economy is 10 person, these 10 person gamble a whole day in the casino.
At the end of the day, the economic goods produced is zero and if they continue this for a month they will die of starvation.
In a closed economy, gambling is just exchanging money, it has zero economic impact.

garment very smart ^-^" u can pass on ur cpf saving to your family member when you not in this world liao but can they fully utilize the whole amount? u work so mch in ur lyfe, maybe acquire lyke 1m in CPF savings u can only use lyke 200-300k LOL! then 700k go where lei? go to garment lor ^-^ u pass on the 700k to family keep pass the money keep accumulate cuz underutilized and then in the end garment still benefit when there is no more beneficiary for the CPF to be transferred to ;D

If I am not mistaken, the cpf that is passed down goes into the relevant cpf accounts of the beneficiaries to make sure they meet at least the minimum sum.
This Minimum sum as we all know, keeps increasing every few years.
