Not sure how the author defined "happiness" so I think the report is overly skewed.
BUT I have to be honest. Like many of my peers, I've worked hard. Got a home and car, that with proper planning, we'll finish paying for in a couple of years. Decent job. 2 wonderful kids with tons of opportunities for them. Likewise for my immediate family.
Plus, I've travelled to many other countries and seen the truth behind the facade ... the grass is not always greener on the other side.
So truth be told, I can safely say that I'm happy living in Singapore, for a lot of the reasons that the author mentioned.
I wll be happy if I strike 1st prize toto.
