SINGAPORE: A KTM
train with 60 passengers on board derailed near the Bukit Timah KTM
station at 8.15am on Tuesday.
No one was injured.
An
eyewitness told Channel NewsAsia the Kuala Lumpur-bound train had left
the station for about five minutes when the incident happened.
He
said the train was travelling at about five to 10 kilometres per hour,
and then stopped suddenly.
He then got out of the train and saw
the train's engine in front tilting at about 40 degrees to the track.
The
first two carriages were derailed but were still standing upright.
The
eyewitness said the track was damaged and passengers had to get off the
train and abort their trips.
Channel NewsAsia understands that
three carriages have been hauled back to Tanjong Pagar KTM station.
The
affected passengers were put on another train and also brought back to
Tanjong Pagar station.

KTM train tracks are gross. Shit and urine comes out direct onto the tracks. You can say the tracks from singapore to thailand are all littered with human excretion hehe.
Best of nature. =)
oh
left 7.5 more mths to use
last derailment.
Now how did that happen? I wonder.
