POLICE arrested a man on Tuesday night who is believed to be involved in several cases of housebreaking at Clementi West, Stirling Road and Hougang Central housing estates.
The 41-year-old was nabbed following police investigations into a report by a 33-year-old woman last Sunday that her Telok Blangah Drive flat had been broken into. A laptop and hard disk, valued at about $1,200, was stolen from her unit.
The suspect will be charged in Court for housebreaking and theft which carries a maximum jail term of 14 years.
