Many weeks ago, took a cab, the td also told me this issue.
Told me the future generation will have hard time looking for job even parents send them to overseas to study or graduate here in Spore. The amount of money spend on studies will be hard to earn back (break even). That is the plight the future generation will be facing. ........from far far away the horizon....I can see tsunami wave building up........

If not worth it to study, than the solution is simple, don't need to study, or study less. studying in singapore for up to secondary level is quite cheap... right now, it is worth it to get a degree at 30k, but if the degree is like 300k and people judge it is not worth it, than people will stop doing it, so this one don't need to worry too much. being international is challenging, having to compete with the rest of the world is to. If the labour cost is too high, than the product will be expensive, and who will want to buy the product? But if you import too many bangalas, it will stink up the streets, and people will feel that their jobs are taken away. So the answer, is balanced. Shutting out the rest of the world is stupid, Bringing in the rest of the world is not cool. So when a certain limit is reached, cut down the import, stop renewing the old contract of the FT, and there will be balanced. -
Even fork out $30k to let them graduate might not be able to earn back the money in xx number of years....that is really worrying....
Really might as well aim for polytechnic diploma will do. Isnt it? No point studying so high and yet earn less than $1.5k per month.

what about ahn doh the australian vietnamese entertainer?isnt he a law degree holder in sydney!he studied so hard despite him being in such a state of poverty,,,,,,ended he got his interview for a lawyer position.the employer wanted him to work 65hrs/week which is madness in any society or even on this planet.in the end he only got 3 days of werk befor he quit.he never got a job in law after that.
the same goes for another australian vietnam war refugee who got his australian mining engineering degree. he went tinto mining but ended up being forced to retire early reeeaall early!think he must have neded up being a seat warmer for someone.he ended up setting up a vietnamese restaurant with money he saved after werking in mines.but he is way too yung to be retired....think he is like 34 years old only. spent like 8 years in a malaysian refugee camp.he looks worried all the time...sometimes dressed like a.......durian seller.
its the medical side like surgery that seems to be messy n dirty that no one wants to go into...scary too.well...if i wanna be a hitman....i might as well end up being a surgeon.
