Predicaments face by Singaporean......
You see.....For others who move here this is their 2nd home....
For Singaporean this is our Only Home.
For others who move here their original country is bigger so is their domestics economies bigger than Singapore.
For Singaporean our original home is an "Island" how big can we boost our economies.....when we import everything.
I wonder if our Government Understand the different in resources endowment.

many folks don't understand when u increase population by 5 million all other things being equal public services and capacity must expand accordingly....
....if there are crisi capacity must equally address that such as Sars virus....will spread faster given the larger and denser population. food distribution, medical distribution, etc......if there is a recession more mouth to feed.....a reverse cascade....Is the government and the people able to face all these consequences.
So public expenditure will increase.....GST goes up again....!!!

apparently the PAP thinks that the tipping point into 'success' is 6.5 million, because that's when tokyo and hong kong plunged into the prosperous state they are now. how the pap goes about doing it, now that's a bit terrible, yea i agree. but to "Vote PAP out and save SG", i tell u this: find me one, just one party that does it better than PAP, a party who will stick around and continue campaigning even after the elections and has FULL-TIME leaders who are like LKY. FIND ME ONE, THEN ON THAT DAY, I WILL ADMIT DEFEAT AND YES, VOTE OUT PAP. GO ON. vote pap out now? i dont think so, and neither does most singaporeans, for right now, not just me, but most of singapore cant find even one DETERMINED, COMPETENT, COMMITTED party we can trust to take over PAP. GET IT? "its time to vote PAP out" ok, who would u like to put in their place, my dear man?

1/3 opposition seats in parliament in next elections, morale raised, then more people join opposition, then destroy the PAP.
Simple isn't it? Just vote for opposition in next elections to save Singapore.
