Don't make noise, government will take people for granted, like what PAP is doing now, flooding us with aliens, HDB prices increase, high cost of living, flooding, insulting Singaporeans, destroy local culture, misuse of public funds.

well, the newspaper reported that this chap was jailed previously for embezzlement, a charge this chap acknowledged.

Its one thing that he was booked for questioning to evaluate under observation....its another to be charged. Facebook is a social network if a terrorist want to plan action would not go to a public site and bla bla bla its planned or intention.
I hope this is just during the YOG event.

I think some apparatchik in the police over-reacted because it was an MP who complained ...
I mean, it could have been handled in a much more "elegant" manner ....
the police could have just warned the chap, and the newspaper report that the police have warned him ....
and at the same time the newspaper could ask this chap uncomfortable questions about his jail time ... and print out his replies just as they did.
people would have just dismissed this chap as another bitter cracko with an axe to grind ....
