Downtown Line: What Tpt minister said abt land price

Accquire some land like e ones at Macpherson/ Merpati Rd at current prices, next thing turn around sell to ppl at rocket high prices due to MRT.
Dun forget they sold e Boon Lay Bus Int land for abt $300m to build JP2 and Centris condo. Get to collect more property tax now.. But end up we get a small bus int for a big Jurong.
Furthermore MRT will never get to serve everywhere, even this Downtown Line wun get ppl to Orchard directly, still nid to x-fer to SBS buses at Bencoolen St. Go Bugis from Macpherson take Bus 63 still faster and cheaper.
Better land prices only benefits e PAP. Cheaper better faster.
Even there are already calls to include architecture design of the bldgs as criteria for land bidding as e simple land price bidding is unsustainable (imo).

It's as if they can continue thinking they can push property prices up. Yet we still get non eco friendly new projects (everyone in e mind is to bid as high as possible), you go see Beijing, how eco friendly e new flats are.
