yeah, grab all the good ppl away and private sector faces a brain drain. End up we need foreign talents like wat he admitted himself to fill the places.
If the economy is not driven dynamic enough, where on earth e PAP is going to get $$ to spend on SAF? Dun forget during Dr Goh's era, everything was purchased 2nd hand.
But needless to mention, the mobile coleumn exposed some SAF's wasteful spending. Like tat white colour Mercedes Sprinter ambulance. How on earth it's going to be able to go outfield is beyond me

You have to thank them for removing the incompetent scholar from the private sector.
If you put them in the private sector, their ego would be gone as they are useless in the real world.
They need the protection of the ah gong company to boss their way around.
The old man is seriously in self-denial mode when he start to praise his own croonies for bringing success to singapore.
It is the local people who have contributed to the economic growth of singapore from toughening it out in the face of recession.
It is seriously not a good sign when he is hogging too much limelight.
No wonder his son have to fall asleep.

those scholars they go to private sector, they've to learn how to eat a humble pie and grow up to solve problems.
But hey, our fighting for survival era was lucky, we'd competent civil servants.

The scholar moved to ah gong company after moving out the forces.
They have not eat any humble pie so they will never learn to curb their bossy ways.
Just chat with your friends working in ah gong company and you will see the dismay and destruction that they have brought about.
As for the survival, old man and ah goh were lucky as they have employed a group of leaders who was in touch with the people and was able to come out with policy that actually helped the people.
When the sleeping prince took over, his elite croonies are more concerned of increasing their salary through playing with statistics, wasting money on meaningless wayang and increasing the suffering of the people through innovative fare increases.
The speech and action that they made is very obvious on they dunno what is the ground sentiments or they are only interested in singing their own tunes.
So, what have the sleeping prince achieved in his tour of duty ?
Nothing worthwhile that can be bring about during national day.
We are still a fishing village after being 45 year old birthday.
The existing game is a show of colourful lies that the organisers trying very hard to paint with no success.
The food issue and the bullying of little kids are known issues that they chose to ignore.

Ans: The Nee Empire needs it to protect their assets and foreign investment. And the cheap labour is us, the citizens.
