IT WILL be a wet weekend, but perhaps not as bad as originally feared.
After issuing a warning on Wednesday to expect heavy rain over the weekend, the National Environment Agency's (NEA) Meteorological Services Division scaled back that forecast on Friday.
The force of a typhoon that had been expected to have a major impact on Singapore's weather had dissipated after it hit landfall in China, it explained.
The weakened system would thus not have a major impact on Singapore, the Met added.
It does not mean you can put away your brollies, however.
The Met said that there could still be spells of heavy showers with thunder, particularly in the early morning or afternoon.
we will get use to it
some people even have the cheek to mention - it is god will - there is nothing we can do
Kelong lah. Our met service...
I wonder if they actually have any weather equipment.
They failed to inform us about floods the day before. The moment there's a flood, they will say floods may occur for the next few days..
Probably they check the clouds on top today and think OK Lah... shouldnt have freak flood again...
Its their way of saying "I told you so..."
do we need met service?
thought Sg has a old man who forecast everything?

I would chop off my dick if anything that the old man forecast will even come true
