$234 Mee Pok meal!

Mee pok for family meal? $234
MY FAMILY had a similar experience at Super Peking Duck Imperial Treasure on Mother's Day as reported last Thursday ("Flap over a fish... that costs $1,224").
We were having lunch and wanted to order seafood hor fun to complement the meal which cost about $25. The waitress informed us that they had run out of the dish and suggested we try the mee pok, one of their signature dishes popular with many of their customers.
While waiting for our food, we noted that there was a lobster dish yet to be served. We highlighted to the waiting staff that we did not order any lobster dish. The waitress came and said that the mee pok came with the lobster.
We said we had no idea that the noodles came with lobster and that it would cost $234. We asked for the order to be cancelled. However, she said we could no longer cancel it.
When we asked why the price or the fact that the dish contained lobster was not communicated to us, the waitress said that it was not their policy to state the prices of their dishes unless asked.
If lobster was the main focus, should this not have been highlighted to us? Even the way the dish was recommended to us emphasised the noodles.

Report to CASE. Their fault, never indicated the dish cost on the menu.

yes this should report to CAse but it is not because of the price not reflected but the waitress did not highlight to the customer it was a Lobster Mee Pok vs a Mee Pok see the diff.......
The case is whether this is contractual "meeting of the Mind" Does Seafood Hor Fun the same as Seafood Mee Pok
Seafood is Lobster = No
Lobster is Seafood = Yes
I think the customer can insist that the Order was "Wrong" Customer ordered SEAFOOD MEE POK and Not Lobster MEE POK.

$234 can eat ALOT of bowls of mee pok...

This story tells us that the Economy is getting bad to worst....
even restaurants are getting desperate.... (next week in the MENU.. Shark fins with Mee Pok, only $299)...

sign............Do we really really want to EAT Lobster with Meee Pok..? Give me a Break...! They called it a signature Dish...Sound like Ipoh Hor Fun.
if i really want to eat a fresh Lobster for a freaking $234. i would have a Live Lobster Sashimi. where the Lobster head is still moving while we eat the sashimi from the Plate.....

This dish should be listed in the menu under the seafood section as "Lobster with Mee Pok". Shame on the restaurant for such tactics.

then normal prawn mee would be $100 cuz it has gold flakes sprinkled all over it.needs to see menu with prices in spore.
