S'porean slashed in Taiwan's Taipei county

SINGAPORE: A 38-year-old Singaporean has been slashed in Taiwan's
Taipei county.
An eye-witness said the victim, surname Zhou, had an argument with the
attacker in a convenience store.
She was said to have pushed the 42-year-old man who took out a fruit
knife from his bag and slashed the victim.
Hospital authorities said she suffered deep cuts to her blood vessels in
the neck and arm.
Her husband, who is working on the mainland, has rushed back to Taipei.
Police said the victim does not know the attacker.
He was detained at the scene. - CNA/vm
