Fined for mischief at Flyer

A MAN who caused about $5,000 worth of damage to the Singapore Flyer's property was fined $4,000 on Tuesday.
Property agent Aaron Lim Heng Shin, 32, pleaded guilty to committing mischief by damaging a fire intercom glass panel and three emergency call point glass panels at the Raffles Avenue premises on Feb 10.
A Community Court heard that Lim was spotted on CCTV cameras loitering at Level 3 of the Singapore Flyer and damaging the fire intercom glass panel with his hand at about 6am that day. He was arrested.
Lim's lawyer, Mr Lim Hin Chye, said his client was devastated when his wife took out divorce proceedings against him and left with their two young children whom he loved dearly last October.
Because of his psychotic past, he went into a state of severe depression, and indulged in drugs and alcohol. On the day of the incident, the lawyer said Lim's muddled mind caused him to think that his family was at the Singapore Flyer where the offences occurred.
Lim, who is currently on medication, has made full restitution of $5,013 for the damage caused. He could have been jailed for up to two years and fined for mischief.

Might as well take flyer o a saturday afternoon, once the carriage reached the summit use hammer smash the windows and pee out of the broken glass from there. epic
as for the vandal cases at SMRT depot i have nothing but admiration for the artwork. however siasway was that the graffiti also became professional stealth vandals by getting in the depot without detection, and getting out without detection.

from the reports, a drunkened elephant could have smashed its way into the depot and wrecked a train, and the idiots in SMRT would probably not know until a couple of days later..and it'll be a train nutter who would have reported it to them and they would probably ignore the train nutter coz.. it's a train nutter

army guards on guard duty approaching civilians accusing them for trying to sneak inot camps when they failed to prevent civilians from taking photos of subjects other than anything within the camp premises, calling police with no particular claus from their camp standing orders and chapter for protected areas, need civilians to help search online for the chapter to help them out
