  u know those PRC girls come to singapore to work as hostess in ktv. guess how much they earn in singapore in a month? 10k? eveyday they worked there, they were paid tips and one night they can earn 200-300. all they do is to chit-chat, play dice, drink, sing and touch by the customers at ktv. come here to earn 10k and go back to spend in their own currency, worth it leh. no wonder there are so many PRCs coming to spore to work.

You mean our current society catalyses a higher propensity to stressed lifestyles ergo more knife wielding pyschopaths ergo more violence? Or you are pointing out that the cause of the Kallang crimes is not foreigners but psychopathic behaviour and since there is higher incidence of pyschopathic possibility amongst low skilled foreigners so it appears as though low-skilled foreigners are the cause of higher violence when in fact the true cause belies that.
  
  and so the solutions...we can secure min wage for low skilled foreign labour or we can tighten our liberal immigration policies (atleast so that not even low skilled labour crowds itself out). Personally Im in favour of the latter... keeps the possibility of low skilled crazies out of our backyard.
  
  yes yes violent crazies have also been around but the media loves to focus on foreign violent crazies right? appeals to our nationalism right? yes and no. Yup i do have my gripes about our media reporting but as far as i see, they have been quite transparent on issues of violent crimes - dont think there's ever press silence on a local violent crazy case. We do read of the occasional local crazy crime - of passion killing /heat of the moment things. This spate is very different, I tell you, this is no heat of the moment thing since FOUR people were injured/killed. This was crazy desperate shit. pscyhological mindset be damned. The dead dont care about pyschological mindsets or the numbers game. No one wants to be a statistic.

I'm sure we ever had such a violent spate before, which went unfortunately unreported because the media had bigger things to report.
