these foreign beggars came in groups. this was reported in the sunday times many years ago. they came here donned in monk robes and was put up in geylang and off they went in their separate ways to beg for money. some were even caught photographed with the geylang girls.

don't be so hard on the beggars lah, if there is a better way out, you think they want to be beggars meh? if you think ah, beggar job is even harder than a normal office job, no air-con, need to be super thick skin, income irregular... maybe they can't get a job that's why they become beggars... hello they also need to eat leh, if no job no money what they do? at least they never rob or steal, we gotta respect that.
