Hawkers at Hong Lim Centre see 50% drop in business

SINGAPORE : Business for hawkers at Hong Lim Hawker Centre has
taken a hit, after they moved to temporary premises next to the
Speaker's Corner.
Some said they have seen a 50 percent drop in business, even though the
new premises are about five minutes' walk from the old hawker centre.
Hawkers that MediaCorp spoke to said there are only about 20 parking
lots at the new location.
They said while some regular customers still patronise the stalls, they
find it hard to attract new ones as the place is poorly ventilated.
The Hong Lim Complex Hawkers' Association has been responding to
complaints that the tables are too small.
"We asked the contractor to build about 12 extra tables. About
ventilation, we did build about 10 exhaust fans to (improve
ventilation)," said Richard Lim, chairman of Hong Lim Complex Hawkers'
Association. - CNA /ls

Not many people queuing at the Bugis F C. This stall just opened last year when the F C was at the temporary F C.

Which shop is this available?
I hope there will not be many stalls that raise the food prices after the renovation at Hong Lim F C like many stall owners did in BUgis F C.
