Boy injured after foot gets caught in escalator at VivoCity

SINGAPORE : A 10-year-old boy has been injured after his foot was
caught in an escalator at VivoCity.
The accident took place at about 12.45pm on Sunday.
The boy was travelling on the escalator with his parents when the shoe
on his right foot got caught in the escalator.
Staff at VivoCity managed to release his foot from the escalator and the
boy was sent to Singapore General Hospital (SGH) for treatment.
An SGH spokesperson said the boy received treatment for cuts and his
condition is stable.
VivoCity is investigating the incident. - CNA/ms

Stupid kid, thats what you get for playing on escalators. Millions of people use the escalator everyday, only his got caught today. I ever got my hand caught in elevator doors before but thats my fault.

I hope it happened at the set of escalators nearest esprit and just a stone throw from the Crocs shop.
it's always the same crocs shoes and the same escalator...
and management still dun wan to do anything abt it...
