They don't bother about that as long as they are still capable to draw world class salary.

well the only hope is if there are far sighted and practical bunch of youngsters who really love tis place one calls home.
dun need to be scholars or elites to run a country as long as one has e correct mind to run e place
As for despo 'filling e hole', you see why M'sia wants to implement 4% GST next yr. It's not to reduce e 26% corp/ income tax rate, but to recover irreversible falling oil revenue.

I agree with you on the Singapore part. What Singaporeans need is a govt that has the interest to place serving the public as the top priority not money making as top priority.
As for the Malaysia implementing GST, I have yet to read on that.
Then u can wait till you expired.
Now, every one is there for themselves.
If the salary is not good, why the old man have to raise it so rocket high to keep the son ?
All are there to collect salary as their speech made are all full of loopholes and reprinted.
"Choosy, Cheaper, Faster, Better, High Productivity"
Ah Goh said that before when he was in charge.
Why is it what it is said and what is real is so FAR APART ???
If there is no internet, we will still be blinded by the papers.
Since when have you seen any decrease in cost and price when the dragon is in charge, all costs are increased without proper accountability.
It is all about money since day one.

Different ministers say different things on the same subject. There is simply no unity among themselves. This cause confusion.
Seems the bottomline of their existence as ministers is merely for money making that is all.
So, now you know what the old man is making reference to all the time when he mentioned complacency.
It is staring straight at him with all the elites that he have gathered.
Will he admit his own mistakes ?
Can the elite always be the one to make the appropriate decision ?
Why is it he and Mr Peanut have to be around to be a nanny ?
As for the elites, is the place that we proudly called home getting any cheaper or better ?
Perhaps money is most of the time on the agenda.
It is good money to earn for SM, MM. Who would want to leave jobs with world class pay??

I know some old folks prefer the sg before LKY, that was under british rule
what's the point of getting him to apologize? It serves no purpose. might as well ask him to step down to take pay cut

If anyone has the chance to do so, I believe the person will. Prob is he is so untouchable. Even those ministers cannot touch him.
All waiting for his demise
