IT ranges from $50 to $1000.50 - that is the ang pow, or red packet, that children expect to receive at this year's Chinese New Year.
But regardless of the amount, collecting red packets is what children look forward to the most during the festive season.
The little ones whom RazorTV spoke to at this year's Singapore Airshow insisted that mummy would not pocket the cash for herself.
But she usually keeps most, if not all, of the money collected from the ang pows, and deposits it into their bank account.
