This is a direct meaning of a chinese proverb of when you see the casket, then you cry, if you dun see, you never cry nor regret.And since you are able to bring out such statement, I can only say, you are abit enlightened, it is a question that one should ask oneself, the lifespan of average singapore man is 76yo, for woman is 78yo, and most of us are in our mid life, what left is about 30 to 40years, so are you going to wait till your last breath to understand life?
Money although is not everything, but it is a must, especially so in such a place in Singapore, it divided human equality to inequality, the differences in any person on the street is nothing except that I got money in my pocket than you.
As a TD, there is a reasons that you become a TD, either cannot work with others, or in bad debts, or simply love driving and servicing people and so on. Whatever it is, it is history, and if you intend to carry on as a TD, it is good, it is one of the most honest living in all trade, salesmen con you money, investor takes your money, food sellers mark up to cheat you..but TD, on meter, press meter, take our share of honest work done. Less sins, less worry, and less bad deeds

Dr Teo is person who reached near his death bed to understand life, we should therefore, not be so late than, for me, in my 20s, I already understood life and meadow myself down to help others with no string attached, and many who had met me said I look young for my age of 50++, there is no secret in anti aging, all things from the moment of new, will depreciate phyiscally, nothing last forever, nor living or non living.
Whatever you have here, make full use of it, mistakes inevitable, but to repeat it is stupidity, be simple and help others if you can, and alway appreciate what other had helped you, you will find happiness, it is not about God or any other spiritual believing, it is about human existence, you and me, you are born with nothing, go with pain and also nothing. In between, make full use of it, you will automatically find joy, not that kind of extrinsic joy, but an instrinc one that makes you look good in a way.

People at difference stage, difference situation got difference need
when he is young, highly educated, smart, healthy....... he go for success and wealth, it's make him happy at the period, nothing wrong.
when he is facing death, it's natural the perception of life will change, his happiness no longer come from materialism, nothing wrong.
