Sekali u inside MBS , saw so long Q of taxis , dash back almost 8km to RWS , lagi long Q .... then u would say u should have stay at MBS .
Save fuel , save time , save effort .

I will be worthwhile if u happened to sent someone to Carribean , maybe can Q at RWS .
But it will be crazy if u come down all the way from Woodlands , just to go to RWS Q .

RWS .... there is only one taxi stand with paxes . Taxi all saturated inside one RWS .
Whereaa MBS surrounding , u have MBFC to try , ORQ to try , Suntec to try , Orchard Road to try , CQ to try , Chinatown to try .... more options .

Would u guys drive from alexandra PSA building to AP empty just after morning peak? Toa payoh to AP? Bishan to AP? All empty.. Day shift..
i did thAt yesterday and all was PNG.. All 3 trips hit fAre at least $20... Not counting from tampines.. So 4 trips from AP... Still manage hit target tho

Yesterday Mileage 345km... Diesel $39. Started 0720 log off 1740hrs.. 2 peak hrs booking.. 2 non peak booking.. 4 AP trips.. Rest street hails. Connections except empty head to AP 4 times.. But need good stamina to head AP empty..

Driving Taxis is up to individual, some from west whack all the way empty to AP, some from woodlands empty to AP, limo disposal job mah...
Some ply the CBD for that $3, but can end up taking less than those plying at ah wood and ah shun, but the best is AP..city hotel, then go AP to west. then knn AP from west.,..then AP connect to city hotel, guess most of us get this type of huat days before once a while, not many.
But to go AP, most will go if nearby, from punggol to tampines or simei, from a further distance, unless we know that town is quiet or that street not much pax, and when reach ap with the infos you have, it should be a good p n go situation, but can also turn up to be a Q for 45minutes situation because most TDs today are very well informed, my kakis alway call me if there are new bak bak one in geyland, technology connected us well.
Nevertheless, emptying into AP need to consider a double trip with a single fare, you also need to consider the time factor and as you rightly put it, tireness.

To many drivers, going AP can also be a resting time, why? because taking up a pax going airport do not need to think so much about road, its the usual TPE< PIE or ECP, then can go AP for a break, if long Q, still can rest, and from AP, most of the road go out by either PIE or ECP or TPE into SLE, unless you get changi naval or tanah merah or the next terminal,...then phui x 10000
, so psychologically speaking, going AP not only can generate income (may not be so), it can also mean more relaxing for driver. -

rws is one of the worst place to q,hardly any paxs!i don't know why so many taxis there,might as well go vivo!png!

Same as what I am thinking. Sweep to long time liao need a rest so since not to far from AP, just head to AP. But will check the information of landing before heading there to Q at T1, T2 or T3. -

KNN than the limo driver I met last week was not telling me the correct thing, he told me can try at RWS if really there are no pax in town or long Taxi Q in town after 12mn. Frankly I didnt try out what he mention.

I rather queue at mbs then rws.. Maybe After function at ball room... U drop pax then see long queue.. PNG liao.. Dun waste time queing up waiting for pax.. Just for that $3 when theres no pax..

Yesterday went T1. 13 flights landing 80 over cabs queing Queue was untill after the underpass slope.. But was moving fast..

U try doing it consecutive 1 month , just 1 month , u'll find that u get tired very easily
if can sweep in sight for paxes , why roam into AP empty ?
Maybe said u heading AP direction , yes can . On the way got pax u still take .
But not all the way highway .

One month consecutive cannot la boss.. Even now i feel lethargic..
I only drive yesterday and this comin sat night.. I just wanna test whether by using this strategy am i able to generate the same income within the same timeframe as before...

It's something i do not recommend .... if this method works , many would have done so .
Cos u got $20+ trip , as sweetener .
Once u go all the way up , first trip go Tampines , second trip go Simei , third trip go Bedok , i think u will phui all the way .....

Yesterday my 2nd trip was at T1, pax board said Bayshore..... sian 1/2.....nvm lo was our job to fetch them there.....after bayshore got a call from Frankie Ave - Boat Quay...... not to bad brought me back in to CBD........ Drving Taxi 60% on luck 40% hard working.

Or if your taxi want to huat huat all the way, I can get sai kongs to liam liam around your cab, pour and sprinkle some new water, flower, stick the hu here and there, ..hope you song song ap to Jurong, then soon soon, from jurong go yishun..sai kong charge $70,
if not, I also can do, since brother brother, $50 can liao..but no guarantee will huat

I believe you did that on a monday where alot of pax coming to singapore for biz.. thats y alot of PNG.. but hor try doing that on a tues or wed, chances are u will pui pui pui... was chit chatting with a fellow TD at terminal 2 during mon 4am while waiting for pax... he mentioned he never sweep.. once drop pax even at jurong west, straight away he zoom back to airport. that is his style during sun nite or mon early morning. and he already made quite a few trips like this during that particular day..
