1st August i go workshop for servicing. Change oil, rotate tyre, etc... 3days back my Wish 1.8 got prob, every morning or afternoon when i start my shift. Warm up engine, put to drive (D), release brake, car cannot move...
Press accelarator more move slightly, move super slow drive around carpark like stuck in 4th gear. After 2-3 rounds around the carpark then like normal. Today same thing but engine check light come out:
And i also notice everytime i U-turn or sharp left or right turn, engine will like go neutral. I think some might have noticed when i turn out of Toh Guan CNG station sure high rev like miss gear...
If i go Defu, still must queue or just go in find Toh?
If i call the towing, must pay or not?
If vehicle down, got replacement vehicle or rental free for down days?

i think your wish gearbox up the lorry lorry liao, maybe they never change transmission oil regularly or forget to change when due
call your workshop and ask to tow or drive back.
replacement subject to your company as problem not identify yet
should be given downtime when in workshop
other questions let other red tds answer you cos i drive silver

1. u can either Q... or when u submit the pink&blue card to the workshop window... tell the staff not service day... can direct drive to "1,2,3" anot...
2. if genuine breakdown... dun need pay... but knowing red pattern... if the vehicle still can move... err... ermm...
3. should hav downtime... replacement vehicle need jasmine's approval... after jasmine approve... need go to ms ho... see got available vehicle anot...
4. u private JLKL... he on 1.8 wish....

Gear box finish liao, the engaging couplings and the electronic timing all mess up. Could had involved in a bad accident that even the main and gear shafts are out of alignment.
Knn, all these CB taxis companies, rent out fark up vehicle to cheat people, cheat people time, money and also safety prospect. Then on the news said, we care for our cabby .....care smlj

I hope it's not your gearbox, cos if it is , i have bad news for u.
i was there for service last Fri, walk around and kaypoh, saw many Wish with the tag "gearbox damaged" attached to wiper blade. ( take note , all very dusty like been there beri long time)
Then i go office sit, enjoy aircon. One cabby came in to return his Nets machine.
Girl ask 'why u return?"
He say "they say my gearbox spoil, no spare for at least 3 months,return machine, dont want to leave in car ,wait damage or stolen , how? "
Girl say " ya hor, machine cost $900, ok i take back"
Then today met my carpark another friend drive Wish , ask him where his cab? he tell me gearbox oso spoil, he take replacement cab.
So cyben, check with them how long , then can decide next course of action.
only worry is that replacment cab wait spoil , then dunno what pattern the coy will chut

Anyways got my wish back liao. At first the pinoy guy told me Gearbox problem need to do gearbox overhaul, then China guy say most likely gearbox prob tell Toh to tell me when ready will call me...
See so many wish with "GearBox Problem" tag at workshop i think i counted more then 7, asked Ms Ho she say Epica next batch dunno when come, see so many Wish prob there scared to take Wish as replacement.
So i decied go home think it over, maybe throw key.. Took everything from my cab and put inside bag. Take bus, reach somewhere near Toh Tuck, Melissa call say vehicle ready to collect.. Damn! i walk to Toh Tuck CNG flag a fellow wish driver take cab back to Defu. He also said he send to workshop a few times due to gearbox and starter prob. He also OMO, he took Wish when it was new, 4 yrs he alone drive and he also don't high mileage per day, good mood drive no mood don't drive type of OMO, still got so many prob.
Now seems ok, car seems smoother, but upshift from 1st to 2nd very jerky. Can only confirm if prob again tomorrow morn.

After having tried Transcab, you will appreciate CDG.
By now any Transcab or ex-Transcab driver will know the standard of their workshop.
My Air-con not cold, got to go back 4 times to get it fix.
I more lucky than most of you, do not have what gear-box problem, cannot imagine how much time wasted.
If you are mechanically inclined, better you tell the Ah Tiong what to do, your problem will solve faster.
If the Ah Tiong argues, ask him who drives the car?
They ever told me no problem, I half-f*ck him back, if customer no complain, I will not waste my time come to him.
You must learn how to handle them otherwise they pull you around by the nose.
