As far as i know, Singapore wasnt a sleeping fishing village as self proclaim by the PAP. With all economical success credits given to just only ONE MAN?
What about Goh Keng Swee? What about Rajaratnan? Devan Nair?
Have any of us here ever read in depth about all these early founding PAP leaders? The left and right wing?
British has ruled Singapore for 129 years before granting self governance in 1948 paving way for the first election to be held.
Singapore was also accorded the title of Crown Colony. One of the jewel of the british empire beside hong kong.
Her economics foundation, geographical location and over a century of trading reputation in asia was basically laid on a platter plate for any leader to proclaim it.
Sorry...i have lost respect for a man that couldnt "let it go" and start appointing family members and placing them all over.

No matter what, is only matter of time......let's enjoy the National Day celebration although many don't really think so.....
Is just another public holiday to spent quality time with FAMILY, and that is more important.....
