Saw twice already. Yesterday highway patrol Volvo chase from CTE into Braddell exit .and today. One WRX and Volvo stop Blue TD @ south bridge rd. Today one I can only guess TD was stalked from CTE, coz highway patrol normally E'way operations. Just slow down a bit. Of late TD got killed by Ferrari, somehow become like TD fault. i guess becoz FT died in taxi...

speeding is wrong, whether is TD or ferrari also same...
But seems like LTA really step up alot... nowadays on the road, alot of speeding ah beng chia kenna... Sometime take bus take cab also can see...

Give you guys a Quiz, then we make an analogy about it.
On the expressway, speeding usually occurs when there are 3 or 4 speeding on the first lanes, all at 120km/h, front a mercs, second a volvo, third a taxi, fourth a Lexus.
All zoomed pass a TP WRX on duty, now who will they go for it, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th, or no matter, only go for the TD.

First guess taxi. Not a secret our civil servants scared of money. but second thought lexus not rich enough, so traditional method. Lexus will kenna.

Smart brother!, I think you hv to agree with me that at any one time, there are many private luxury cars speeding down all expressway, sometime I also get horn or highlighted by them to give way, but why alway TD, lorries, pick up and private buses get caught??
At any one time, there are 70,000 private cars on the road in day time, in 2000, there are only abt 37000 2.0cc and above car, but by 2011, there are 102,500 2.0cc and above OTR, 276% increase, that is why 2.0cc COE is now very high.
Taxis, tho stand at 28,000, not all are on the road, some OMO will be sleeping or resting, so I guess about 20,000 on the road, 20,000 against 70,000 on the road, and the statistic show that 25% caught speeding are Taxis, 25% lorries, 15% pick up and buses, 25% are motorcycle and others, only 10% are private cars.
70,000 against a backdrop of 20,000 on the road, and if you are really a TD on the road, you see so many speeding on lane 1, then why TD get caught more than private cars???

Bowah. to be fair. Your fomula lack one crucial factor. Time spent on the road. Liddat TD = more than 10 times normal private cars. But of course I am pissed with the government. All the cheapo shot take on regular drivers, catch ppl going @ 80 with camera... Cheap shot man! They are not doing their job enough keeping roads safe. More ppl are dying on the road because of shiit attitudes. But baleh baleh say speeding. WTF! The only thing they effective is catching drink driving. This one I support.

I said day time, nite time sure taxi more lah. Drink driving, if you really want to catch, just wait at those pub and club car parks, no need road block here and there stop traffic flow and yet you already allow the drunk driver to drive a certain distance before you caught him or her.
If you wait at car park exit, knn, peoples will really think twice before drinking, before even on the main road, already kenna liao

if they gonna do this, it is true people perhap will not even drive after drinking.
but, then..... TP still got to continue to deply their force at a risk of lower income or no income.
It is better to let the public take the risk of their life then risking their income.

Isn't it the best to catch drink driver is when they move off the car park check them, at exit? in this way, before even causing problem for other road user, they are already apprehended.
Transformer OT, be wise, it is not that the traffic police do not want to do it, they can do it if they want, but if they do it, what will happen, pubs, clubs, bars, night dinners, function all close shop, then how? TD also die, there will be no night life and nite driving

Typically speaking, as many had said and known that the rich get richer, the poor get poorer, it is not the mere problem of they are taking much from us, but also the poor prefer to cheat on the poor. This is psychology at it very best, I bet you pick up pax, you also prefer someone of our kind, or when you want to gather or have a break with partner, you also pick people of your kind, some cabby prefer to pick maids, pinoy or indo or even malay paxs
Same goes to TP, they are mere working class, need quotas to report, if catch no one, can be consider as idle, but to catch a luxury car, he knows the percentage of having to talk and explain and even go court is likelyhood, but to get a taxi, lorries, pick up, motorcycle is layman against layman, no issue, just tell them the offence, issue the ticket and move off, somemore can scold and warn them.
This also one reason the poor get poorer
