Bro, I have the same effect on my old Mercedes except mileage, seem to be the same after a while of pumping ESSO...
Maybe will try Shell next.

u drive what car?
drink diesel like drink water leh.
Hahaha, he it talking about crude oil per barrel. He could be comparing Opec basket crude oil, for Brent crude, it should be $91, Opec are more of arab producing, and Brent the north sea producing, light and sweet.
There are about 40+ type of crude oil produced from different places, so naturally the grade will be different, + additives, each have is own good and bad point. Just like you eat meepok here and there, sure got differences, but still meepok.
So Esso or Shell...which cheaper?
Still can't find the way to apply for Shell!
Is this "Escape Value Care Card" from shell website what u all refer
Or is another cabby diesel card?

following points to consider
1. Esso card is debit card not a discount card require deposit of $250 or $350 then $1000 credit , giro from your account no money in account (story of almost every cabby) then pay fine . Esso offer 21% Discount inclusive of points
2. Shell card discount no depsoit or giro pay as you pump it is issued by a compnay called "best Pertol & Diesel supply" their address is 6 Benoi Place Singapore 629927 need to go there in person office open 9:30 am take NIRC ,TVL and your bank account number (for them to depost money) , the discount is 18% on spot 2% in form of points and 2.3% deposit in your account so total 22.3% discount in all
now weigh what suits you go for it better then buying kerosene mixed diesel from company

As for ESSO smile card, just fill in a form from any kiosk, immediate approval and start enjoy 18% for taxi drivers, and this rebate been 2-3 years loh, even when CDG selling their diesel at 0.88cts...

Kill germs faster ar??
Prices fluctuate due to market demand and supply forces, including non price factors. But since it is a relatively non-price elastic good, the consumer will bear the brunt of taxes, and the producers will not fear to increase the price of diesel to increase their total revenue as the percentage decrease in quantity demanded (law of demand ) is less than the percentage change in price.

No lah, actually it is not good for skin, but as marine fitter, what to do, whole hand all thick carbon oil, need diesel to clean it off, then later use detergent or soap to wash the diesel off. We also clean engine parts with diesel.
but long term exposure to chemicals not gd hor bro take care hor...........
last time i also every other day touch thinner lar, rust remover lar, paint lar.............
Anyone still interested to sign up for the Shell Escape Value Care(for cab drivers) card. I got mine last night at Terminal 3 canteen, they said they'll be there again today from 12 noon onwards...
Just need to fill up the form(less than 5 mins) and they'll issue you the card on the spot.

True, but u need to wash with soap later on, thinner, rust remover or paint remover are very violatile, meaning it can vapour into thin air very fast, and due to it small molecular structure, they can enter your bloodstream from the pores of yr hand, this is same as petrol, you leave it there, later all gone, the most violatile and pure fuel is aircraft fuel, is can evaporate in second, that is why you need skill technician to fill it up.
And that is also why you need to pay a high fuel surcharge, higher than the airfare.
Diesel is the least violatile, so in a way, on board doing dirty work, like is or not, we are expose to it, have to take is as a hazard, like TD, hours of stress and stagnation position is also a hazard to Taxi occupation
