Match fixing can happen in leagues or those 100th place countries competition, but for Euro Cup, very unlikely, due to culture and languages differences and also reputation at stake. The govt involvement also play a critical role and in Euro cup, it is an international game that the whole nation and world are watching all top players challenging each other for their country.To weight the balance of fame, reward and personal satisfaction of holding the euro cup against a corruption paycheck that can make one go to jail and finished, I think a right mind footballer playing in a final will not want to take the unnecessary risk.
People alway think the Italian are corrupted, look at their leagues, completely out of portion since the 80 and 90s milan, but when italian are not corrupted, see how good they are, and that is why, they are in the final.
