  since we have to earn the rental for the company for maybe 5-6 hours driving!and everyday gotta to work to cover rental,it seems like we are the modern day slaves!

  no one ask you to drive taxi... you choose to drive..  if u go to work in normal office, you are also a slave... you put in so much efforts but earn peanuts as well, but the company is the one who make big money... so if u r capable, go and open your own company... and since you think taxi company is making big money, then pls go find some capital and open another taxi company...

  If you are in your 40s, to return to corporate world, think thrice, unless given good opportunities, go ahead, if you are in  your 50s, save the life, carry on as TD, if you are below 40s, if got chance, good chance, please go ahead.

  In whatever you do, you will alway feel that you are the worst, and you tend to see other goods, being Casket driver, i alway see the fcuking taxi cut into my lane as better than me, as a TD, i alway think CD is better, just do disposal only, then as a sailor, i alway see those TD who ferried me to the ship as better than me, cos I hv to go up the ship and work like a mad dog, the TD can just drive off and enjoy life. For those who had become TDs, did not u see the good of being TD as good or as your last resort.

  In comparing, human tends to compare themselve down on what they are doing.

  As a TD myself, i sometime think i m like a "Pros".  Any customer can up you, tell u turn Left, turn Right....Stop there.  Some even ask u go "Faster" "Faster".

  yes,got one passenger even threaten me,!"i want u to drive at minimum 60 km/hr!"how to,when there r heavy traffic!the other thing i don't like is pasengers just say the quickest and fastest route,but when stuck in jams or they think u took a different route,will start criticising u!fcuk them!

  Please note tt if TP caught u, u have to pay the fine not the passengers. So, please bear in mind that we have to work for safety and drive safely from pt A and B. No point driving fast and later arguement.

  If pax asked to say can drive faster, u mentioned I will drive safely to your destination as I believe the pax also want to have one piece back home. Thus, maintain @ your desire speed and also practice defensive driving.

  Oh, sorry brother..., but we also kind of like pros, got on call/booking, advance call, same same pros lah. , then also this hotels, that hotels, knn.

  Some pros before working, collect money first, we have to complete the job than can get money, poor performance, must give discount some more, knn.

  Business transaction is best if both side win, but sad to say, one way or the other, one of them will feel short changed, so lan lan just wait for another opportunity to strike back, it all about demand and supply, the external enivronment, and the present condition.

  yeah ? Try being a chef mate.. On a really busy day, i do work 16 hrs..

  Ya even take bus/MRT also must pay first. Either put money in your ezlink or tong the coins buy tickets first. Only take taxi is take first pay later. KNN

  Same mah, macdonalds and drive in also paid first, nabei, no wonder we face alot of monkeys on the road. That is why disposal is good in a way, paid a flat rate, careless how which road you take.

  today early morning,one passenger book my taxi,reaching entry of PIE,got traffic accident then stuck in jam,for hours!reach destination paid $45,say it was her most expensive trip!this what i call retribution!
