Bro BCL, to my view on his posts, he needs a revive soon, he is one living in a cage that find no way out of it, then looking out of the cage, he sees so many changes by other that further anger him, moreover, those living in the cage with him further frustrate him when they said TD is good, happy and got good income. He would then remind them, hello, you still in the cage ok, dun give me the fcuk about happy and good life.The only changes in a TD life is change companies, change vehicles, but the TD is still a TD, however, changes generate a new energy into a person, and from blue to red to silver, you find life more colorful in a sense. Then again, after many years, change here and there still within the 7 companies, after going thru the 7 companies, you should be graduated, but unfortunately still a taxi driver.
For BCL, he therefore needs to look beyong TD, a change of trade, maybe he will be more happier, the matter lies on whether he wants to make a stand of getting out of the cubicle of the cab for good. As time wait no one, as we age, our demand for job become lesser and lesser because we got no much left to pick and choose, if he understand that, he may end up a lesser paid job than TD, but happier than a TD

Income is a must, but it should be secondary to satisfaction. One must seek satisfaction in what one is doing, that is the primary goal, if you are not satisfy with what you are working or driving at, given 5k, also no use.
People excel when they are satisfy with what they are doing, and excel do not solely imply higher position, paid or grade, but also on health, happiness and and well being.
Some countries like Finland, Nepal, Sweden etc measured the GHP rather than GDP, GHP meaning General Happiness People, these country are happiness driven, not product driven. Because they believe that once happiness is attained, success follow.
But sad to said, our govt emphasize more on GDP, business and money and never ever care about people happiness, and that is why you see many zombies around, living but dead.

to rejoin i straight away reject then he ask y?? i juz told him even with higher
pay/rank i wun be as happy as the life im having now n the income im generating.......

Different school of thought, brother. You have my respect, a man must stand up to his decision without regret or remorseful, if you are a TD, no use going back and blame this and that, maybe nag here and there for the fun of it is ok. For frankly speaking, this may hurt some, no body is pointing the damn SAR 21 on your head and instruct you what to do, you choose your destination freely, you decision determine your outcome, as a man, never regret on your decision, Once you start to regret, you will start fall backward and demoralise further.
Since already TD, so be it, no regret, if want to change for the better, go ahead, to most people, they fail miserably to appreciate life, cannot blame them, cos the time they open their eyes, is $$, rental, fuel, road, bills, foods, ego and pride. All these blinded them from the reality of life, the reality is since I become a TD, I get to know all you good peoples, from chief to komade to Rbs, on clone of JDI and many more. To appreciate it, if wasn't in TD trade, I may not get the honour to know all you good guys, that is life I appreciate and cherish.
Learn to look beyong yourself, not everyday in the cubicle of your Taxis cursing and and thinking of $$, rental etc etc, because all these like it or not, will alway be there, by now, it should be a norm for most of us, go out and appreciate your life, your friendship, your brotherhood and your family
