Ferrari, taxi and motorcycle crashed at Bugis

I have received email from CDG appealing for donation for the cabby. So what he is the sole bread winner of the family? What about the passenger of his cab? She is paying money to get a ride home end up dead because of the negligence of the cabby. Yes to me both the driver of the Ferrari and taxi are AT FAULT! Why? Because he assume green light then step on the pedal, on turbo and there he goes. Never bother to check. Take things for granted. For a Ferrari to go do fast and in the middle of the night we would have heard the car before we see it. Why did the other taxi driver that took the video footage stop in time and this Sonata driver didn't? Because simply BO CHAP. Green means step pedal and go.
I dun pity any of the driver cos one simply have no regards of the traffic rules and use the road as his private race track. And the other just simply BO CHAP. I am not a saint, I also speed but only when I am taking call and I do look out the surrounding when I am speeding for other road users. But when taking pax is a different thing, I never speed because I am responsible for their safely.

Dun have. Trans Wish 1.8 have 2 air bags, 2.0 Wish have 6 air bags and my Mercs have 2 air bags.

I also have a few near miss from this kind of $#&*^$# driver. Lim peh green light they can just zoom past right in front of me. Mind you not those just turn green I move off type of scenario. It is those green light in my favour from maybe 3-4 car length from junction and they can zoom past the red light in front of me. That's why even I cross any junction with light in my favour I still bother to check left right for any errand driver.

hammerhammer . . . if one were to start work at 5pm , by 4am , tell me , unless inhuman , everyone of us who worked more than 10 hours , will felt the fatigue of driving , when u are tired , your focusing , concentrations , all will be down by at least 30% .
I have to thank god and touch wood , everyday i go back in a piece , not in a box , cos i knew myself , tired means go home .
That will go on and on for me , tired go home , never will change , cos i know when i am tired , everything will be slow down , including my reactions .

Now everything happened, talk like so easy like that. Just by hearing you can tell what happen.
From that few seconds of video footage, we can tell that 10 sec before the red light, the Ferrari should be no where in sight, even if u can hear the sound, u know instantly what's happening? What to react? Now I know la, cos I watch the video. Of course I can say these and say that right?
From the way u talk about the taxi driver taking video, u dun seems to know anything about how these video works. The recording starts the moment you start work and it just keep recording, once it reaches the limit of your memory space, it overwrite the one before that.
Not the case that Mr Yeo saw what happen and start to record, haha, what a joke. How could that be possible, it happens so fast.
Btw, u think the Ferrari driver want to die? He must have over estimate the speed and the red light and if you notice from the video, he did take action to steer left to avoid headon with the cab, that's why the impact is slightly to the left. If it is direct headon, the female pax could have been another death victim. Agreed?
As that Mr Yeo told the New Paper, he could be the one who got it, but Cabby Cheng is faster at the start? Reason? someone on top say so? His load of one lady pax is definitely lighter that Cabby Yeo's 4 pax, that's why affect the pickup? Your guess is as good as mine.

What we see over here is video clip???? Like some say, the beauty of cut and paste.
From every possible report from the media and witness, we believe that this Ah Tiong is speeding at a very high speed, zooming down from no where..did he beat the red light? This fucker never even step on the brake even to the point of impact, the only reaction he can do is to slightly steer to his left which result on him ramping to the pavement.
Without ramping to the pavement, he might not die. No point showing the characteristic of Ferrari, leave that to the expert.
From green light to move out to impact, media who got the actual video clip given by the nabber taxi uncle (why give SPH, give to Traffic Police enough Liao ma), already stated is a good 5 second. Nobody is chionging, all taxi is occupy. Yes, maybe you can hear thundering sound from the phuilalee, but a fast car just needed less than micro second to zoom pass you. You won't know where it come from if that fucker don't even had the intention to stop.

If you observe carefully how the accident might have likely occured...
The car's speed may somewhat tell you the car may have been at corner of Illuma when the taxi moved off...
The Ferrari saw the red light but too late for it's travelling speed is way too fast.
So how to lookout like that?

Donno what u mean by "why the other taxi can take video of the accident?" U mean that driver heard that Ferrari coming so he on the video and start taking? Halo u dont have a in car camera? U donno how it's works? Nobody asking U to give Any sympathy to any party and if u have not watch that video nobody need any of your comment . That taxi almost reach the other side of the road when that baster beat the red light and crush into him. So pls use your brain next time u wanna say something.

Have you ever drove a 5pm-5am shift ?
Our concentration, focus, attention, reaction, etc will all be affected by fatigue at that time of the am.
It could be any 1 of us at that moment, be it pte car or taxis.
Our fellow TD died at the hands of a reckless speedster.
Your comment about his negligence and carelessness is really uncalled for.

Whoa! No chance to evade man... Ferrari 599 GTO, V12 - 600++ HP.. 0 to 100 KM/h in just over 3 seconds. RIP to such an awesome car. Even if the driver didnt rev it and gun for it... he was already on cruising speed. No chance man... by the time u would have heard it, it would be too late.
Unlucky taxi and an even unluckier passenger in the taxi. I can see ppl starting to speculate the presence of the china girl. Which reminds me of a few incidents I was aware of. Sometimes u get busted hanky panky, and sometimes u dont. Sometimes u get busted hanky panky after your demise and that.... is way worse. No way to defend yourself. And the truth pretty much laid bare right under such circumstances.

Did a ferrari zoom past right in front of you in that few near miss ?
Beating red light at a speed of 80km/h for a nornal car is different from a speeding ferrari at more than 100km/h
Don't compare your senario here with different timing and different car.

Wah.....you are thinking very logically. Actually this accident is very suay for the TD. The ferrari was going at 200 km/h, that's about slightly more than 3 km/min. Caught the TD by surprise I believe. He would have avoided if he could. Negligence? Nono.

The Ferrari driver is married, but the PRC woman in the car is not his wife... at that wee hours, did they went drinking previously before that? Whether his mistress or is he sending her home watever, we wont know...But has the driver been drinking which impaired his senses and bestow him balls of steel...?

Work permit holder, PR, FT etc with driving licence are allowed to drive in singapore It is that easy Gadmen does not take into consideration that other countries can buy licence unlike singapore. Some foreigners drive right hand in their own country. Not easy to switch to left hand drive. It's high time cheebye LTA impose both practical and theory test for these so call FT Make it mandatory for them to pass before they are allowed to drive no wonder now I see a lot ang mo, ah tiong on the road

I can still remember your accident with the bus when you were driving your wish then.
From the video you posted, everyone said you are in the wrong. It was obviously a judgement error on your part that causes that accident.
Now you are telling ppl here that the TD should have HEARD the F599 coming, this and that. How you will look out the surrounding.
Just from that few seconds of video footage, you jump to the conclusion it's the TD's fault.

we practice LHD, on RHD cars...our cars are RHD, but we drive on LHD rules...
