Most taxi stands in Sg design in such a way that, pax on board from the left, because we are left hand drive..except certain stands in CBD area otherwise.
So naturally single pax, on board will sit on the left, unless she like to watch your "head" than will shift to the right..lol
But if direct impact from the side of our vehicle, a lot of question marks will be question. Not easy to direct impart from the side unless....I'm not traffic police, this case will faded off very soon, because it involve a rich man and a "big" taxi company.
RIP, hopefully the injured will recover soon and tell the truth.

I think speeding is secondary, a powerful machine at 100km/hour is just like a normal car traveling at 130-150km/hour.
Recklessness and some hidden cause had result in this fatal accident.
Let's pray for the injured to recover in order to relay back the incident especially from the TD himself who might feel remorseful for the rest of his life.

Well , sorry for not showing sympathy to the ferrari driver .
Every weekends , can see those ferraris and lambos , plus some other mod vehicle racing like BMW and Vios racing against each other . From Dempsey all the way , cutting in and out of Orchard , all the way to Marina Boulevard .
This is a good wake up call
One question : Why not more speeding devices deploy for such areas ?

yesterday when i out from CTE at havelock,see got gap n the car behind is slow,So signal left want to change lane.BUT the fucker car suddenly becum very fast n block my way!BUT....hahaha...end up he bang the other car from his/her left!Too bad i m rushing!if not sure go down pass my phone numer to other car driver n clap hand infront this fucker!

n more dangerous. i juz had a near fatal accident tis morning. On scotts rd heading
towards paterson knn F private car beat red light at wheelock place towards lucky plaza
n the red light muz have been on for at least 2 sec liao........ lucky me , chevorlet
n sonata all jam brake in time else kenna whack big time n i was the nearest to
that motherF cause i was on the right most lane luckily i checked n move out slowly
when i saw this motherF juz flying down orchard road if 1 sec earlier now maybe
in bodybag or hospital liao PHUi!!!!!

For the Ferrari to become this mess, the driver must be driving very fast.

If you come from ECP into Rochor Road, and Cup (sorry Komade, need to use their word so that they understand) the curve, you will head for the ramp over Nicoll Highway, then down slope to Victoria Street.
The Curve will bring up your adrenalin, then power up the slope followed by power-plus-gravity down the slope, even more shiok,.... the rest of the story no need to say,... oredi happened.
I pray for the Taxi Passenger and the Motor biker. Most Innocent.
The TD, I can understand. Everyday on the road, got some risk.

The newspaper is showing the Ferrari driver's family photo of crying etc..... What about the poor innocent lady who just took a cab home ? U think her family not sad.
Nowadays, I see so many fast cars Zoom here Zoom there, and the best is TP only can see TD drive on bus lane, stop at no pick up zone and issue parking fines.....
S'pore is becoming for the rich, the local Singaporeans just has to suffer.
