Because it was almost 6 seconds after Green light that the Ferrari was zooming down.

Better for them. Just imagine if I am him and saw that red monster coming and what action would I take at that split second. For me, I think I just freeze, maybe no time for that too.
Anyone here think my turbo can save me at that moment if I can see him coming?

Actually you are right. Too fast liao. And I read from somewhere in MCF got one CB Kia saw some 50 notes on the floor he go pick up and go away. KNN never even bother to help.

Anyway according to the reports I think Cabby Cheng is a responsible driver and man. It's said that he refused to die till his family assured him that he was not at fault for the accident.

I dun think this gotta do with cautious and not cautious... it's green light...
The only one at fault is the speeding ferrari, be it drink driving or speeding or maybe the hostess give ahtiong driver blowjob or watever la...
even if u got superhuman reflex, ur car still wont accelerate or reverse fast enuff... The only reaction most ppl will have is either "siao liao" or "WTF" then bang~
besides u see the ferrari, it might not alarm u until u notice how fast it's going... but by then u'll already spend 2-3 second to judge that it's extremely fast, already no more time left... It's easier to judge speed if u see something zoom pass u, but for something coming staright at u, harder to judge speed becoz u need to judge distance first... -
the involved cab reacted faster by moving off ONCE the light gone green
showing he is alert. (even though he has been driving 12 hrs....)not sure abt the pick up speed of other cab at the scene, maybe the the cab tt caught the footage is just about to move also but it happened within that 1.5 secs
or isit bcos got many passengers so slower to move? -

Cannot based on reports. KNN that CB AT friends they interview all says HE IS A RESPONSIBLE driver and father. Responsible will drive so fast and no regards to red light? Responsible will go out in the middle of the night with a SYT when wife is preggy? Try interview his enemies lah. Of course friends say good things mah. Courageous and responsible taxi driver Mr Cheng, HE actually fought death to serve his guilt beacause he thought it was his fault . But upon knowing it wasn't, he went peacefully.Not many taxi drivers that responsible nowadays.Respect.

i dont understand why certain people get so worked up for. its an accident, not a deliberate act. there is no need to insult him. what has the fact he was a PRC and drove a ferrari got to do with anything? would he be less blamed if he was a singaporean who drove a less expensive car? and what has his personal life got to do with the accident? please show some respect for the dead. even if he made a mistake in life. moreover he already paid with his life.

mindless people behind machines is a danger to anybody FTs or otherwise. I wonder what this PRC financial advisor/speculator that will wreck more lives if he is alive with equally dangerous financial instruments (like his Ferrari).
