Unlucky taxi and an even unluckier passenger in the taxi. I can see ppl starting to speculate the presence of the china girl. Which reminds me of a few incidents I was aware of. Sometimes u get busted hanky panky, and sometimes u dont. Sometimes u get busted hanky panky after your demise and that.... is way worse. No way to defend yourself. And the truth pretty much laid bare right under such circumstances.
RIP~
Only a saint who can hear a F599 coming and looking around his surrounding can evade.
Maybe ah pool can use this forum name to collect donation say $10 each, those who have no feeling for anythink can just bypass what i say. Anyway nobody begging for him to give donation.
On a micro scale, this was an accident involving a chinaman and singaporean TD. On a macro scale, this will only deepen the social rift between singaporeans and foreigners.
Rich foreign bugger driving a flashy sports car and he destroyed the lives of one sgporean family. Maybe I'm dragging this too far but me thinks it will affect votes this by-election.

yes.. but whatever it is, it will definitely be a thing talked about in the coming days or months.
Drinking... impaired senses .. balls of steel. How about.. drinking... argument.... rage.... and crash. Cause I witnessed a few scenarios like that. But all these are ASSumptions ya. :P
RIP to that TD.
This will only widen the social rift b/w sg and foreigners. In addition to irresponsible PRC making remarks on the net(not sure u all aware anot) i think more sg ppl will jus hate them more.
The more ridiculous part is i heard got ppl go take away the TD money? really really ridiculous act.

The video link is here:
There is one pedestain crossing at the traffic light before the ferrari appear. It was too fast. The TD has no time to react.
That ferrari driver deserves to die. Spot on collision.

This video show very clearly there was no time to react.
It could happen to even Mr Yeo had the ferrari zoom past 1 sec later.
But I see the private car stopping by the side. I believe was to help but not sure about Mr Yeo. I presume he just proceed on with the journey.

I think it's more about empathy.
His comment is totally unwarranted.

I think most ppl feels the same too.
Cool down la, Bro, before this thread kanna lock again.
Guess he is got more empathy for that lady pax too, real innocent victim. but there again, if her time is up, what can we say right?
The same goes to Cabby Yeo and that guy who just walk across. Their time is just not up yet. Time for them to buy 4D this week. Sure huat arr!!!
On second thought, when most accidents happens with taxi involved, doesn't most fingers point at the taxi too? Be it rush to do a job or fatigue. TD always kanna blame.
This cam is really very useful, at least ppl now know who most of the fault goes too right?
Poolman, time to make your sales pitch! Lelong lelong!!!
Dunno where the Straits Times got my number from, call me yesterday to do an interview about my cam. Even want to take photo for me and my GPS-cam too but I declined.

Of course no time to react lah. Chiong so fast. He is at least more then 1 car length away from the others trailing vehicle in less then 4 sec then impact. View block by left taxi? How about the black car to his right? He also blocked by the deceased taxi right? IF only he had not chiong when light turn green then all 3 cars will siam the stupid F599. Agreed?
How many times you see Sonatas zooming off when light turn green? Not all but most do it. IF he died without any pax I still will feel empathy for him because I can understand it is very competitive business with the high overheads that make us YAO. But again if you are taking pax please spare a thought for others. Please be more responsible and drive carefully, Anyway I already forward my little donation to his family.
I apologise for the harsh word I says but sometimes I really angry with these people. Why can't they be more sensible? Even my neighbor driving a Sonata also kpkb to me about other Sonatas that drive recklessly.
Also if you notice the taxi actually stops over the stop line. So from that we can deduct his driving. If you drive normally when pulling to a stop at junction why would you overshot the stop line?

Mr Yeo had passengers on board. It's not up to him to stop and help. Passengers have to agree to that. If passengers insisted to proceed with the journey, there is nothing he can do.
The private car was slower than Mr Cheng but faster than Mr Yeo. He was lucky too.

How about the black car beside Mr C? He is block by 2 taxi leh. And you see properly Mr C cab is way ahead so if he bother to check to his left he would have zam big brake and siam. If you notice he din even brake at all. His right foot is firmly pressing on the accelerator thats why he is pulling away from the others. So it got nothing to do with life saving position given by God.
Many comments about Taxi Driver and Ferrari Driver.
Put me in the Mr. Cheng shoes, I will also kena hit.
Why.
Because it was almost 6 seconds after Green light that the Ferrari was zooming down.
If you are Mr. Cheng, can YOU avoid it? Think first.

I think you are assuming and not very fair at that too.
Even if most Sonata shoot off upon green, u cannot assume that Cabby Cheng does that too right? Just because others do it.
DoesCabby Cheng goes faster than cabby Yeo's makes him looks faster?
Maybe Cabby Yeo dreaming, listening to pax conversation or digging his nose. You never know right? When he pick up slow, he makes Cabby Cheng looks like going faster right?
From the video show, I dun see any shooting off, but more of a regular pick up speed. People already died liao, at least give him a benefit of a doubt la.
You are practically driving a motion to prevent or rather discourage ppl from donating to his family stating that he deserved it too. How u think if his family, already devastated from losing a love one, get to read your post?
How would you feel if you happens to switch role with cabby cheng now?
Do u think the Cheng family now have a windfall with lots of money coming in? U want to be in their shoes now? Honestly, even if we can donate $50-$100 now, with or without it doesn't really make a different to them. BUT, your donation will create positive karma for YOURSELF which will come back to u in many folds in "dunno when u need it"
So let's not plant negative karma be it verbal or physical ok?
