My old "AMX" was grounded yesterday..
Than Workshop call me this morning, informing me of Vicom Inspection due.
Than a lot, a lot of funny things they wanted me to do. A small crack in my windscreen, dented on body..
I ask them, last inspection, all this already there, also pass, wtf you talking.
Than they blar, blar, blar...don't know what they talking about? Is it due to recent fire case on Sonata? Mr L decided to step up the vehicle inspection on taxi?
Anyone went for inspection last few days? Cause workshop sounded horrified, scare one time cannot pass those tone..hahaha

My friend went inspection last month and told to repair the dented bumper.
I had my inspection just last week and OK. Passed.

Thanks Bro, my taxi still at workshop, no news yet..
See what Comfort want loh, their taxi ma, that crack on my windsreen is less than one inch, hit by stone last years, went to Loyang, told me cannot replace although we entitle 1 each year.
Si mi ma Si they say one...hahaha

Don't need bang table la, taxi belong to company, hirer agreement we sign, not happy return loh..so far nothing serious until will throw back the key..lol
But I'm still looking around for alternative..taking every words seriously from this forum especially from other companies..never drive other companies before, everything from hearsay..
Definitely won't switch back to Sonata, rental also not justified, new Mercedes totally out from my book..If no more driving limousine, how's my regular? Fuck lah, nothing great on that..
So, got year plus to see any changes in CDG..
And at the mean time, still had to be contented with driving this "AMX"..paying 123, OMO..bidding corporate jobs like nobody business..phone, email, SMS, fax..whichever come, serve loh..hahaha

If come to the worst, you can join my toyota Hiace van, 40 to 50 pts per trip, no need bidding, call or sms, just greet and drive slowly, just make sure you get the right pax -

Mine less than 1 inch. Loyang say cannot change, Vicom bo check leh..some dented parts, Workshop patch back for me.

During my time as a hirer with SMRT, when my cab is due for inspection, STK will do the servicing swee swee. Reset the merc turbo then I'll drive to the nearby inspection centre for the vehicle inspection.
So far never fail. Only argue with them about the window tint which I inherited.
They fail me on the window tint that time but ultimately pass it.
So after inspection done, drive back to STK for them to turn on the merc turbo.
All this included in the downtime.

bro, you are night shift hirer, maybe you dun bring your cab for inspection so you are not in the know.
prime dun do big servicing, they just wayang abit here & there only.
before going to STA for inspection, stop taking pax (or put change shift to jurong but may not get pax on the way) & send cab to workshop for their so called servicing. then drive to jalan boon lay's STA. depends on the Q, it takes about 20~30 minutes for the inspection alone.
so all in all, it takes at least 1~1.5 hours for that f**king inspection for a vehicle NOT owned by me. and worst i have to pay rent for this period of downtime.
downtime + lost of income = little money? ya, to you maybe small money, i am a poor cabby, mind you. and that small $ X 750 cab = ??? no wonder taxi company's boss all loaded.
