Hi all. I'll be getting my tdvl soon and new epica from SMRT will be ready in mid may.
Im staying woodlands and when I get my taxi, I plan to only drive 12 hours a day and plan to find a relief to take over the rest of the time. So question is, how do I look for a relief and how much to charge him? Also I read in other threads on who pumps the diesel and it seem quite confusing for me. So can anyone tell me in detail what to do to after finding a relief? I understand I'm newbie so dun wish to be "eaten" up by the experienced relief.
Koh , u just got a TVDL and already sign up as OMO ?
As a matter of fact , if u need to be OMO , sign up for Comfort is easier to find a relief .
They have a bigger pool of reliefs .
SMRT must keep on trying hoping for durain to drop then people will drive SMRT taxis .
Best time is 5pm to 5am , or 5am to 5pm .
or even better 4pm to 4am , or 4am to 4pm .
Rental half half if both commit 7 days , no off day .
Anyone going for off day , pay $20 to off .
Diesel is traditional handover time full tank .
U takeover full tank , handover full tank .
Any usage after topping up , we count as per km .
U used 10km , we count as 10km x $0.15
Place cash one side .
If relief commit 7 days , it's fair u share the free rental and those perks given by taxi company .
Day driver's duty , nothing much , just sent for servicing .
Night relief duty is cleaning up interior and exterior of taxi before handover .
If night relief do not wash , pls pay $3 more for rental .
Than day relief sent for washing .

mainly i sympathised SMRT new bird , blur blur got psycho became OMO and suffer a few months .
i swear to you , SMRT won't sympathised them .
Or teach them anything unlike Comfort .
Comfort when u first join them , they pumped you call until song song .
Comfort scared you tan bo jiak and cannot pay rental .
SMRT dun care one , u die your problem .
No money pay rental , they tow nia .

Trancab even worse i think, i dont hear my mdt sound also
Haa. I'm honoured to have poolman's detailed reply.
The reason I choose SMRT cos i stay near to it's woodlands depot and secondly, I prefer a brand new cab for a start. From what I know, SMRT don't have to queue as new vehicles are available.
Last reason maybe becos SMRT is going to rebate me for cos fees and enjoy training allowance up to 2k if rent for a year.
Or is there similar or better offer out there?

Our "LV route" where got TransCab call one ?
If TransCab got calls , u can off your MDT liao , Lake View surely PIANG !
TransCab drivers has got two choices , recommended by me .
One : Sweep whoever flag for u . Grap whatever fare that is waving for you .
Two : Join LV and be picky .

I dunno , must ask those Comfort's drivers .
Or u can surf at CDG websites .

U must be nuts to ever thought of that .

If u MDT no sound , check all your cables behind make sure all is tightened .
Second , on our log in menu , u key in 00112233 .
Then input your taxi number , this is to make sure your MDT is communicating with the GPRS .
If after input 00112233 and the MDT give you some cable link failure messages , sent your MDT for checkings .
So which coy is best for me to join now?
If I take cdg, will me staying in woodlands be troublesome for me to pump diesel or do servicing?

Pump diesel ? Hello bro , Comfort's reputation u dunno ?
Woodlands' SMRT depot also i think open until 11pm ?
Then relief mst proceed to Geylang , that is one reason why some night reliefs shunned SMRT taxis , cos midnight Singapore only one place to pump diesel , Kallang only .
If at Woodlands , u can go Sungei Kadut that side or Senoko also got .'Yishun Ave 7 also got .
On the way AMK also got , Braddell also got .
I knn 7 years Comfort driver , finger tips .
U must be siao to compare conveniences of pumping diesel between SMRT and CDG
knn servicing u want to try TransCab ? hahahahah
SMRT servicing what time , u just go what time lor , what convenience ?
Stay woodland , servicing mean u no need work ? Stay at home sleep until servicing time ?
No right ?
