Actually i got nothing against this TD trade but somehow i cannot understand how ppl can say this trade is good la , flexible la , can fuck pax la , can this la can that.
I fail to comprehend how a farked up mundane job like taxi driving can be glorified until like that?
Its like a toilet cleaner saying he enjoy cleaning the shit and pee every farking day. get the logic?

I don't think TD is an easy trade to do too, but it gives a freedom which most of TD appreciate. Like your own business. Work hard, you earn more. Lazy earn peanut. overwork n try too hard, lose family and health. So have to work smart...but problem is how??? It's only a matter of discipline and knowledge of work. Driving a taxi I can pick my kids to and fro school. I can also choose whether I want to spend more time with family and earn slightly less or drive more odd hrs for more $$$ and spend less time with family. I choose to drive slightly longer shift if that particular month I need more $$$ for personal reasons. To me, I feel that what kind of TD you want to be is a matter of CHOICE and this job enable you to make a decision of what you value more in life. Money, time, healthy or family. Choose $$$, you lose the other 3. Choose either time, healthy or family, you lose $$$... So ask yourself, what you value most???.... As a TD you can also choose to be happy/love and enjoy your work everyday or choose to curse everyday abt this fxxk up trade, fxxk up govenment, fxxk up weather, fxxk up passenger...etc...and be unhappy and frustrated always....then go home vent anger, scold kids n scold wife due to unhappiness receding in the heart...then family problem.... So to be a happy or unhappy TD it's still your choice again...you can curse until cow come home but in the end ownself suffer... So I rather be a happy money sucker than a unhappy money sucker...as money is still the reason why we become TD.....lol

omo with discipline = doing ok
relief with disclipline = doing better
relief with no discipline... cannot wake up... start late.... end early... one shift jio each other for coffee 10 times = wondering why some relief can collect $X within a 12 hours shift while they can onli cover cost
omo with no discipline... suka suka drive day... suka suka drive nite... no fix driving hours... happy happy anyhow give ownself off day = fall sick liao!

i enjoy meeting different people... some will talk to u... some dun... even listening to pax conversation among themselves is interesting - from there we learn about many aspects of life...
wat i enjoy most about taxi driving.... u may be in jurong the whole morning and suddenly the next pax sends u to tampines...
and every 20 cents (27 cents during peak) is your own after cost...

DAY 22 SAT
been sent to lim chu kang cemetery TWICE... and best of all... there is a line of taxis parked ver neatly Q-ing to wait for pax!
khoon dare not join the Q... two reasons... khoon wondering are the taxis real? or from the other world de? coz they are parked gtoo neatly in the Q...
also if khoon pick up a pax there... will it be a human pax or pax from the other world?
so khoon alight pax liao chop chop zoom off to the nearest eastate...

Those brothers sometimes also worry , dunno the one they hop in is real one or burn one ...dillemma type . -
in my entire life time as a taxi driver , most close cabby friends of mine enjoy driving a cab , I would say 99% of my friends enjoy it .
Got la 1% condemn this trade .
Not a fantastic job ....better than working .
Unless some people out there , sekali offer me $4k , then i can consider quitting taxis .
But got so stupid people leh ? $2000 can get a Degree Holder from Philipines , why need a expensive Singaporean ?

Yah i can say being TD not easy wan to earn xxxx muz hav brains n lots of stamina. Pool got brains but F lar he too idle liao no stamina haha~~~~ Me brains not as gd but stamina confirm win him maybe even in xxx .......... :P -

I actually got a call frm SAF quite awhile ago ask me wanna rejoin or not. got tis bonus tat bonus lar i juz tell them F off haha~~~ Yes the $$ i may get would be like me in idle mode when being TD but hor the freedom $$ cannot buy -
i dont know what other limits td can do, but i can confirm that part "can fuck pax la"

few tai ko trips... penjuru 4am... jurong shipyard 7am...
other then tat... quite relaxing to drive on sunday...
last time when still working office job... sundays will be volunteer driver send friends here and there on sundays... foc...
now sunday also send people here and there... but can collect fare... hee hee...
going sleep liao... wish all TD bros huat ah!

today onli one taiko trip... riffle range road... but see e pax nsf... kenan such camp also suay siao... uncle still give him discount...
made a silly mistake... PIE toa payoh can take wrong exit! ha ha...
kenan bang... tomolo must go down office report... seems tat will be quite lechey... can write own statement firrst and bring down? instead of spend time write down there...

Bang what?? u bang ppl or self bang?? if can settle outside less than 2k do it urself else trans will hantam u $2140......... Yah sometimes i also take power naps of 10-15min after that super fresh liao earn less nvm dun endanger urself or others ;) -
Napping is good, it refresh your brain and relax you, I do take nap of 10 to 15mins whenever I feel tired.
