12 solid hours driving with two super short breaks nia...
first break 6 plus at expo crapark... make use the toilet in expo do big biz... den sit outside hav alfresco breakfast in the dark... 15 mins nia... free parking...
second break 10 plus at toh tuch cng... feed the ferrari with cng and feed the driver with chee cheong fun... 15 mins also...

did you guys do night or day shift first when you started off driving? i will be out a job next week and thinking of going to to comfort cab for help with matching although i hav also been trying the various forums. been quite nerve wrecking, come to think of it, not having a job, although i am lucky not to have any loans, all paid up including my flat. been preparing my daughter too, telling her that i would probably have to work on weekends and that she will get to see less of me. i may have to start with night, cos quite hard to find day relief, everyone wants to drive day. my problem is that i have a bit of 'night blindness' and don't recognise roads that well at night, but sigh, for my family... thinking of driving prime mover also.

khoon started with day... more pax otr... juz hav to keng the brains a bit to think where to find pax...
khooon tried one time nite driving when cktan goes off... veri competitive and really have to crack brains think how to drive strategically... although cktan shared on the wat to do and where to go... still damn siong...
after khoon's virgin nite... day driving like become easier... juz sweep sweep sweep... png... no png... find a taxi stand to Q...

officially drive for two weeks liao...
today took two hours off during peak hours... send nephew for NS enlistment...
a lot of LTA enforcement team otr... do keep a look out and siam them...
khoon going to koon liao...

four consecutive days start 0400...
today 10plus after break veri sleepy... end up slept half an hour in mscp... after tat chiong again...

today morning careless left sling bag with wallet... nric... etc... in the back seat before start shift...
kenan taken by first pax... sianz ttm...
heng working money and licenses in waist pouch... no affect operations... onli lost focus... worst collection today...
interesting trips of the day
early morning - young couple... uncle balestier... when reaching... the young guy lean forward and say veri softly: uncle drop us at any hotel 81 with 7-eleven nearby... ha ha... uncle actually wanted to be naughty and say (but never)... buy condom ah? ha ha ha...
sianz ttm trips
clementi pick up - macrichtie reservoir... drop off... next pax: west coast... travel the same way back...

DAY 17 OTR / DAY 2 OMO Trail
0700 - 1300
covered cost
1000 meet tvdl course mate for break at queen st... 30 mins back to work liao...
1300
send pregnent friend to hospital... so hoping the baby will come out in the taxi... but the baby kwai kwai wait till hospital den come out... ha ha
go home sleep
1600 - 0100

peak hour never go into town at all... actuallly whole nite never go in town at all... 90% tai ko trips... 11plus drop pax at AP... see the T1 Q stretch all the way to the slip road into T3!
want keep time at bishan... see three youngsters singlet n slippers... should be a short trip... end up... uncle sembawang... taxi uncle almost faint!
0100 - 0200
from sembawang head over cng top up... back to base bath the car... too bad cannot bath the driver at the same time... ha ha...
tai ko trips of the day
mount pleasant rd... mt faber cable car... kim chuan rd... sentosa cove two times!
conclusion
omo = double cost... almost double hours... but no double profit... ha ha.... but veri good experience... nite driving muz hav strategies and tactics...
if hav chance to try again... will do a 0600 - 1800 or 0700 - 2000 pattern...
but day relief still best at the moment!

not really double for seasoned OMO means 2-3hrs more work to cover the costs

there must be certain differences (can understand some refuse call them advantages or benefits) that those real omo will not share. but i can safely say not necessarily extra work or hours. up to individual.

Eg , like National Day eve ....
U know surely huat , so OMO drive night , rhythm for body sudden switch , took a toll on the body . ..... but on National Day itself , rental the same , but body punctured , no energy chiong , chiong also cannot match for those normal days .
So when i think of it , worth it ? Not worth it .
Worst is , body needs some re-tune .
But the next 2 days after holiday , always the case , not very busy like normal day .
So still not worth it , body still tired .

But some OMO dun care eve or wat F same working hrs every day very disciplined driver

Day 20 OTR
early in the morning forget to collect booking fees for a call i took...
afternoon think i cut Q at ION... err... not purposely one... i empty car go in see all taxis dropping pax... coordinator wave.. zoom to the taxi stand... den suddenly a lot of horns... cham... quickly pick pax n zoom off...
so pai seh...
