Cabbies dun speed , knn eat what ?
Me 110km/h , pax told me : " Uncle , no need so fast , i not in a rush ."
I said : " ,今天我很客气了 110km/h 。"
As for red lights camera , and pedestrain crossing , TP has been very particular about this issues , so drive slow when approaching junction la , no harm doing so .
Esp Day Shifts .
Night shfit wise ..... due to low light visibility , it's human we are more concern , so pls take care of all lives .
Money make less nevermind , don't reckless kill someone else at pedestrians crossing .
My taxi buddy was booked for not giving way to on coming pedestrains at a pedestraian crossing . knn not even by TP , by normal Street Patrol .
my own 3 arrow rule..reach 3rd arrow, release accelerator and shift foot to brake pedal. standby to brake. reach first arrow still green, accelerate. another gauge i use...pedestrian crossing..green man, no probs, blinking green man standby liao. slightly more ks than poolie's method. but better safe than sorry.

According to my kaki...from his gathering around.
Traffic Light, especially adam road junction sime road (SICC).
all the below are not there.
This green man also can help to judge whether the junction , or the traffic lights on the road u are travelling , will turn AMBER or not ?
Do glance around the junction when approaching .
If the green man is blinking , u are always safe to go through the junction .
The traffic lights will only after the green man turned into
.
Go and read those traffic lights language .
U guys found any logic here ?
Try this, and chiong this adam road juntion sime road (SICC) when it's amber...than you know what i am taking about. all those mentioned, still you need to get $200 ready, and 12 demerits point for them to put into you record.
bro KTCK, my kaki is driving blue comfort, omo....Larry is his name.
both traffic lights, one is from cantonment road toward outram, the other is the above mention. Could it be the same as you mentioned.

Cabby would try to avoid accident , not bacause of $$$$ , all because we have a family ..... our family knew that driving a taxi is dangerous all time , so we must always go back in one piece , not in a box .
Me 110km/h , pax told me : " Uncle , no need so fast , i not in a rush ."
you should thank her, this lady that piece of word.

Anyway use your driving initiative ... Sime road SICC area , more walkers than cars .
If those drivers who chiong that red light , really deserve to get demerit points .
We all know Sime road Sicc the light will turn red when Sime Road got cars , idiot la they all .
When want to chiong , aiyo , see Sime road got cars or not , serve them right sia .
My example applies to most traffic junction .
Especially those pedestrain crossing lighting is control by sensor for road crossing .
Being a driver , if u don't observe those traffic rhythm , what to say ?
I am so sure kelvin never kena demerit ...if base on what his understanding on the road , go and learn something from him la .
Sometimes i really don't understand , everyday , we can pass by all kinds of roads , with camera or without camera , we should know by fingertips .
If being a driver on the road , it's ridiculous if those fellas dun remember which traffic got camera ?
Ok if they know , then wtf they chiong for ?
Like what Kelvin did , slow down , standby brake on 2nd arrow , will die ?
if i am TP , i'll just laugh at those cabbies ....."Uncle , u everyday on the road , u dunno this road got 2 traffic red light camera ? "
wa piang , dun say i want to say them .
Serve them right la .
Dun worry about me , retribution on me ?
Anytime , not my habit to beat traffic lights .
I got a bad habit , i always slow down when approaching traffic lights , until that god damn 2nd Arrow , then u see me zoom away .
Fucking bad habit cannot change , for over 17 years of driving habit .
Must change , 2nd arrow also must standby brake like Kelvin . Will not kill me , right ?
anyway , regarding this topic about chiong-ing traffic light , turning right when blinking arrow at a camera zone WILL NOT get snap .
Cos the censor only on vehicle going straight .
I stayed at cck , the turning right arow blink x3 and stop , u chiong no problem , i chiong many years liao ... bo tai chi .
Bukit Panjang Road , junction of Upper Bt Timah Road , that Camera ( heading Woodlands Road ) , active for going straight vehicles , be safe there .
CCK Road , heading to Bt Batok , junction of CCK Dr , be safe . Going straight camera active .
Victoria Street , towards City , turning left into Ophir Road , camera active , Raffles Hospital side .
Be safe that's all .

ALN also .....
I lagi dun say , very fast eat myself liao .....
Speed also must be clever la ......
For night shift , TP speed camera don't work at night one !!! So infront no worry liao , when speeding , aiyo , check often from the back la knn !!!!! Every 5 secs check behind for the TP , i can tell you that , they are fast and invincible .
One moment u dun see them , next moment , they are beside you .
And pls la cabby , when speed , dun be commando take Lane 1 , take centre lane and speed less eyes catching knn .
One said this..Quote: taxi driver(.TP speed camera don't work at night one !!!)
But go to the TP website, the below, said they are very efficient.
Quote:
All across Singapore Traffic Police are gearing up to get speedsters off our roads, employing some of the most advanced technology in the world. Traffic Police Department have mobilised 24-hour patrols, with new, mobile stealth laser cameras. These can be quickly positioned in any location, at any time. The new cameras can photograph two cars per second, and can capture not only your number plate, but your face as well.
Speeding
If killing yourself or someone else in a speeding accident sounds unlikely to you, then consider this. You can also kill your licence to drive.
Speeding is the number-one killer on our roads and Traffic Police is determined to arrest it. Before you speed, remember how hard you worked to get your licence. And how hard you will have to work to get it back.
TRAFFIC POLICE ACTIONS
All across Singapore Traffic Police are gearing up to get speedsters off our roads, employing some of the most advanced technology in the world. Traffic Police Department have mobilised 24-hour patrols, with new, mobile stealth laser cameras. These can be quickly positioned in any location, at any time. The new cameras can photograph two cars per second, and can capture not only your number plate, but your face as well.
So now your chances of being caught speeding are greater than ever. Unless your car can travel faster than a laser beam, Traffic Police suggest you slow down. When you speed, things happen in the blink of an eye. The faster you go, the longer the distance required for your vehicle to come to a halt, and the less time you have to react to potential danger. And, the faster you speed, the less control you have over your vehicle.
You might be surprised at just how much impact a speeding vehicle can cause. The greater your collision speed, the greater the severity of injury, or even chances of death.
With the implementation of the new Driver Improvement Points System (DIPs), Traffic Police is getting tougher on speedsters. It only takes one or two speeding offences to put licence in jeopardy. You worked hard for the right to drive. Don’t blow it by speeding.
Cabbies dun speed , knn eat what ?
still no answer, dun understand?
U expect them to tell you the camera dun work at night at TP website ?
Aiyo ..... sad .
No wonder some drivers complaint earnings low .
Left hand tight down by LTA , right hand tied down by Traffic Police , right leg tied down by Comfort , only left leg can manouvre .
I am happy TP does say that they are serious about this . Show that they are working .
Cos since 2006 i got caught , they disappeared together with the camera .
Yes , since 2006 , at night , i don't see them work knn .
Where the f*ck are they then ?
But i do see them when Government giving away GST credits ....
And see them when Government paying bonuses in December .
And see them if Government announce tax cut .
Other than that , nay , they are busy with accidents on the road .
If i am a TP , i will only work if my boss told me so .
Same pay , why work so hard to catch speedster , and neglect more serious issues on the road ? And terrorism which is more serious to Singapore than speeding ?
If i am TP , i will educate drivers , not punished drivers .
Go and worry more , u will earn less than me .
for those cabbies , just be a bit clever la when driving .
Dun just knn looked straight when driving , observe a bit .
Like u travelling at Lornie Road towards AMK , opposite road got cars on/off high beam during daylight , pls la , use your brain slow down . they don't high beam for nothing !! They are signalling you got something on !
When near TCS overhead bridge , if see many cars 800m infront of you for nothing got brake lights , must be something on la on top overhead bridge, aiyo !!!
This one first time people teach you ?
Observating the surrounding on the road .
And please remember those hot spots for camera shooting sessions .
TP said mobile , actually not really mobile , they got SOP , Standard Operation Procedure .
Sembawang Road near Tagore Lane .
Lornie Road overhead bridge outside TCS .
Upper Bt Timah Road , Courts overhead bridge .
ECP Tanjong Katong .
PIE Toa Payoh , 80km/h .
CTE near Yio Chu Kang .
Lentor Ave below SLE .
Gambas Ave .
Brickland Road .
PIE towards Tuas , NTU overhead bridge after Pioneer Road North .
Jalan Boon Lay near Unilever , towards Jurong Island .
AYE towards ECP before Jurong Town Hall Road , overhead Bridge .
TPE after Punggol , overhead bridge linking punggol and sengkang .
KJE towards Jurong , after CCK Drive .
ECP before Bayshor , near East Coast Parkway carpark exit .
Fuck la , all must be finger tips when hitting this areas .
Now u know why Uncle Poolman never kena 12 points before ?
Kia si ma , maintaining these kia si habit of slowing down at this areas , always kiasi .
Today's lecture until here , good night students !
any 80km/h , i rarely charging exceeding 100km/h .
90km/h , i seldom charge 111km/h .
I just never give TP any chance to press charges on me Speed exceeding more than 30km/h .
Ok lor , speed exceeding 20km/h , 6 points , $130 .
If they work , i pay .
got la , after midnight 120km on less sensitive road .
Funny right , after so many years driving a cab , only kena one at Upper Bt Tiamh road at 1.30am .
TP no chance to tap me on sensitive road .
Ya...man.
you are right, there is a saying.... why?, (what so difficult stamping down loan shark activities.)
we should cane the borrower and not loan shark.
like that, we must cane the TP and not the chiongster cabbies, hehe.
Why? with all those equipments and those manpower, just only one cabbie as like with those vast experience of taxi speeding an expert as like Mas Selamat speeding escape from the detention camp.... and got loose.....without any trouble. But...now... we know where is he.
so our TP are not doing their job issit. hehe.
anyway, speeding is a must in taxis driving, as mentioned.
wait and see. Luck.
alrite.. another favourite speed trap:
Hougang ave 3 (towards ave 2), the overhead bridge just after S11/ before Hougang st 22 (opp Defu Lane 10) that stretch. speed is 60! but before tt stretch near the SBS/ Kim chuan area, speed is 70 but ppl just chiong n chiong.. nice 3 lane road with only 1 traffic light so watch out!
frequency: more than 3 times a week
PIE towards Jurong at Lornie flyover.. TP will be at the adam road flyover shooting down
See , we have a few clever and intelligent drivers , who know where will have camera actions ?
hehe me dun speed mindlessly where can ciong i ciong :P
quite familiar with the hotspots places so i normally go 20km/h
faster than the limit only. like cte 90km/h i go max 110-120 nia.
carry pax norm 110-120 on highways. yah after i become cabby
myself now i knoe y cabs ciong on the highway so fast at nite
cause dun speed eat wat sia.....
