  I was the only Malay in my class from Sec 3 all the way up to JC 2.

  Frankly speaking, a lot of my Malay counterparts seem to think that I was suffering terribly when I told them that I was the only Malay in my class.
  
  Pure nonsense. If anything, it was a highly enriching experience - for both myself and my Chinese classmates.
  
  I'll admit that I did feel a little left out at times when they all conversed in Mandarin while I sat back in one little corner with my mouth shut. Eventually, they would remember my presence and switch to Channel 5.
