  looking for JC/sec sch students because me no money... any of ur friends need? (pref living in west.) pls recommend to paper jiejie kay.
  
  i teach a lvl maths c and physics. o lvl phy chem amaths emaths.
  
  and im serious. i dont really like tuition agencies.

  i suggest you approach tuition agencies if you really cant find lobang from friends. i got mine thru agency too. but to be safe perhaps you might want to clarify everything with the agency before accepting the assignment.

  well, i just dont quite like the idea of getting from tuition agencies cos firstly, you arent sure of the student's backgrd (yup, im quite picky when it comes to students in a sense), and most importantly they kope 1/2 of ur salary for the 1st month...

  Well, I got my first two assignments from agency.
  
  What I can say is that I'm not too picky about my assignments so long as the hours and the pay are reasonable.
  
  Currently I'm tutoring my two younger cousins, though. Haha.

  korean kids do not need tuition in maths or physics
  
  i mean, heck, their primary sch maths could very well be what we learn in uni
  
  and one fren even said some could end up teaching u rather than u teaching them
  
  i got thru a fren, so called 'agency'
  
  i suggest agency is the best way
  
  in anyway, its only half of your first mth pay, not half of your monthly pay

  if you tutor your relatives/friends it might be a bit difficult to negotiate the fees sometimes since they might not be very sure abt the standard rates.

  I would recommend a multi-prong approach if you do want to give tuition. Call up all available agencies, call your relatives, post ads in Friendster... that's what I did.
  
  And yeah, like ah lau said, even if you go through an agency or a tuition coordinator, it's not like you're going to hand over a huge sum of money. 50% of the first pay may seem big, but it's just a one-shot payment.
  
  I'm also trying to find one more tuition assignment, but parents tend to favour females. The fact that I can't speak or teach Chinese is another impediment.

  come to think of it, i've a friend who is retaking A lvls next year and sometimes he hints me to tutor him but i dun think i have the time.
