Yday, kena 3 pax all pay $50 for less than $10 fare. . But, I dun mind really. If u mind, then prepare one stack of $10 all in 10 cent coins for change. Haha.

To me, $50 change is a small matter in Taxi Driving
There are too many TD, everyday get bother by these small matter, $50 change lar, other road user honk lar, tailgate lar................. paxes pay by net lar.....etc
These are those matter happen to everyone, we can't change these fact, so we got to accept it.
In life, if we can't handle small matter, don't even think of anything bigger

and once a $1,000.00 bill, this i dun have change, then pax pay by union pay

Get on board tell me at start got $50, okay no problem.
End of short ride tell me $50 only and that I higher than you attitude is asking for $2 change in return.
But this kind of thing cannot get pek chek or your following trips all screw up.

1k bill? No such challenge yet as ATM dont issue 1k single bill.

You all very lucky. Got twice pax give $1000 for less then $10 fare.

Pay with 1k note is the type who want free ride.
But can foresee more and more pay with 100 also.
knn, stanchart atm gives out 100 note.
Glance at pax wallet when they pay, after a while you realise the finance kind inside is either 50 or 100. Slowly hunt and wait for them to round up. They will cos 2 and 5 to them is rough paper.
This happen to me recently, bang my head.
Pax 1 give me 50 for 12 fare, says return 10. I tot he drunk.
Pax 2 then come out 20, says keep the change.
Base on their conversation, these guys sell ships for living.

Nowadays paxs will give excuse ATM only give $50:notes!but we must be prepared with extra $10 notes!sometimes paxs don,t like u,purposely give $50

As a public service provider aka TD Juz prepare $200 of loose change NP one 10 x $10, 10 x $5, 15 x $2, the rest coins In between shift, if you take ur lunch, check ur loose notes Not enough change lah mai suay suay, first three trips all kena $50 then better drive to a temple to pray pray first

$50 paying pax is he trying to evade fare? The answer is no. If you don't have $50 change why can't you open your mouth beforehand? Why blame the pax?
Got a number tourists who only have big notes, they might know about smaller notes, in their countries taxi fares are around $50 a trip.
What are you trying to proove or gain by paying pax back in $2 notes or coins? Do you gain anything? Do think by doing it to 1 pax, other pax will not do it?
Got some people here or in in the old forum, say educate pax, LJ what education you trying to provide? Are you a teacher? A taxi master, a guru? Like for eg, not picking pax at bus-stops. You think other pax will not hail for cabs at bus-stops or junction? Please lah use your brains a bit.
You want to pick, pick, don't want, don't pick. If kena fine it's you also that has to answer.
Some tds and others thru training by their silly chief think it's a privelge for pax to take your taxi. I'm sorry, that's never the case. it's a privelege for you to be able to pick strangers and ferry them, don't forget that. That's why you need a license, if not any tom dick and harry can ferry pax.
You haven't kena really kwai lan pax like my firend who's a taxi driver now. Once the driver made him fed up by grumbling, he f the driver said, you got no $50 change my problem? Why I must follow you to change money? You go change the damn money yourself and come here and collect from me. You not happy my problem is it? I cheated you, call the police lah.
So please dont try to prove something over a trivial matter, you are just being silly. Open your mouth beforehand solves a lot of issues.

Indeed, many time I didnt prepare any loose change, when pax give me a big note, just tell them calmly that all the small note had been used up, is it alright to settle by nets.

Sometime queueing at taxi stand, hotel, lobby....
Check got loose change or not, if not, so many kakis queueing together, get down your cab, offer a stick of cigarette, if non smoker, offer a pack of condom also can....
Than kay kay make friend, than finally open your mouth and ask lor.....
"Knn, today all give me $50, si beh sway".....
"Lai, lai, mai tulan, limpek a lot loose change, I change for you".....
But most time, all TD just sit inside their cab lor....

Usually pay days you will see bigger notes, fresh smell good big notes, then as the month coming to the end, you see them counting coins, add here and there to make up the fares..knn

Ya lah bo loose change then ask pax to pay nets loh. I usually as pax to pay nets and waive the $0.30 for them cos not their fault to use nets. But most of them quite understanding and wun take the $0.30 from me. Aiyo they also paiseh take $0.30 lah. As long as tell them nicely can liao.
