  out in ST, premier changing their current booking from 3.30 to 4.50

   

  CDG limo also changing prices at expo. ST notices today.

  Premier command premier price mah.

  Already booking so low still want to increase. Must be hirer complain rental too high, premier decide to charge it those customer on call so as help their hirers and at the same time, attract new hirers, alamak, ini maciam pu ada

  This is not the way to help their hirer, it is defraying cost to a diminishing operation (on call) so as to convince their hirers that they are helping as long as hirer still paid those kind of rental they stated. And that will diminish their calls further.

  Sometime I see those Premier taxi on call sign on top....

  Than look at the driver, like si beh high like that....

  I only can shake head....

  After 3 rejections they start to fine driver hor.....4-6 rejections $5. After that each rejection is fine $5.....Lol....

  To be fair,

  Let look at the purpose and objective of each fare structure changes by Taxi company.

  For this case, purpose is to provide better income for their hirer who take calls

  Objective of company is

  Able to tell the public that they care for their hirer by increasing on call fare to lower their cost of rental

  My question is, why not just lower your rental and I guess more people will join premier, lower the on call charges and many will call premier.

  In business, to earn more profit, there are basically 2 ways to it, cut operating cost or increase prices.

  For taxi companies..either

   option 1 increase rental or

  option 2 increase fleets with more calls that result in more levies.

   if you are the boss, what will you do to increase profit, option 1 or option 2,.

  For me, option 1 is the most easiet way out, why go take the trouble to increase fleet, increase admin, increase call..which is more of a long term target, by increasing rental, today your said, tomorrow, profit come in..food for thought

  I just got my VL and signed up with Premier ... hope it is not a bad choice ..

  Correct or wrong choice only you will know....

  Good for basic training.

  Anyway, whatever companies you go into, driving a cab is not the best choice

  If cannot climb those stair, look for a big size guy call hammer at the ground floor.

  eh..3 level jump down still got 50/50 chance of surviving

  4 level lesser chance.
