Dont be too sure. Tds are famous for going for things like this, especially older ones. You go there and get a fare quick, well and good. But if you go and find yourself in a jam plus a long queue of taxis, you'll end up in the middle of nowhere and be forced to spend a great amount of time just to pick up a starting fare of $10.
Consider this with the $5 airport surcharge, which you stand a far better chance of picking a fare. Which or what will be your choice/

We're off to never never-landI got a pax along Sing Expo that night. After picking him, I saw a lot of ppl waving for cabs.. chat with pax and he told me luckily I did not go there as the traffic is terrible and it's not worth the extra $10 surcharge. .
However, to my surprise...CQ lack of taxi that night.. twice I went there and waiting time less than 5 mins..
I guessed taxis must be stuck in Changi area...

Yeah i went in there,but a bit early,pick up 2 cheapo paxs,when inform got $10 surcharge,not happy,then ask me drop them at nearest mrt!

A lot of paxes are offering flat fare for cabby to take them.
The taxi I booked has many pax begging him to take them.
In the end..I good heart..told this pax $80..money come first, my cabby will send you to my place where he can take another cab home.

I on busy and Went there around 12am+ To take a look ,to my surprise not many cabs at all but lots of people there...along the way Lots of people waving at me even im on busy sign, then got one guy waving frantically at me. I stop near him he signal me to wind down the window... He asked me " uncle, ive been waiting for 2 hrs+ but couldnt get a cab. I give u $100 can you send me to potong pasir. "
After that i chiong back there and i still able to take 2 more trips from there... And the fare is awesome.....

Oh wow seems my analysis was wrong and some Tds managed to cover their rrentals with 1 trip.

That night totally huat lor, almost got 300 points for these 3 trips from there. At first i also thought sure got long queues of taxis and the traffic will be very jam but to my surprise, no taxis at all and no traffic at all but still alot of people...
