How to edit CDG Sonata taxi meter fare?

Hi to all forumer,if end of trip pax want to pay by credit card and also want to give extra $3 for tips,how do you normally edit the meter fare?The last time i do it was to choose "product" and name it "private transfer" and type in the amount,easy and straight foward.Yesterday i tried,but the product page seem to be gone.Please kindly share you do it,thanks in advance!

press K2 till $1 come out, then press K4 3x lor, this will go into your fare as extra..I never trust MDT one hor, nabey, last time, MDT goes blank...suddenly go into GPS, for fark??

Bros Bowah,you mean the $1 can be under pte booking,location surcharge or whatever.I thought it is press K2 3X and press K3 to confirm the extra charge.Anyway,thanks a lot for showing the way.

Can lah, why cannot, even 10 cts also have...lols,
location surcharge is one time $3 liao mah, no need to press again,
if changi, also $3, after 5pm during weekends, it change to $5, me uncle happy times.
I only press K4 3 x then wait for a few second, once it lock into the below screen, press stop, swept cards, unload baggages liao, if pax said can press 10X, I carry can also carry pax baggages to his destination

Okay,so the method i used last time as "private transfer" is no longer available in CDG Sonata liao,issit?But i still think this method is the best and straight forward.

I also found out recently that this "Private Tranfer" feature is no longer available. They just removed this feature without notice KNN. Whenever I commute my family, I'll use this feature to set it at $0.01 so that the roof will show the "Hired" sign
I'll write to CDG for an explanation

Thanks TU610,lets see what they said about it.KNN,they always suka suka change now & then,only confuse the taxi drivers like us.With this new edit system,thats mean the pax want to give me $100 through credit card also cannot be done.

Like what Bowah said, just press K2 to Private and press K3 to select the agree aditional amount... lol
No choice, if pax wants to give $100 as tips, just press 100X. I don't mind doing it :)

"Private Booking" use to be solely for Limo cab only...
Than when CDG conduct the upgrading programme at Turf City last time, they insert for all normal cab also...
Confirm recently they have taken out this feature....
I don't know, it might be something to do with LTA ruling....

If my coconut brain still can remember, K2 the most can press 18X....
Anyone driving CDG, can press and check to clarify this issue....
Why 18X, because that's the max a booking can be secure, for Limo Cab, their advance booking is $18....

Hi TU0610,there is maximum cap on Private Booking $8.00 the most you can press.That is why i said not possible.

Yes,i think you are right.But Sonata advance booking is $8.00 only.

K2 function is for us in case got personal booking, than you can key in the amount, MDT jobs are all automated....
So CDG got to set the highest available booking charges from various kind of taxi....
Of course if want to use it as tipping, also can lo....

Thanks quickpick for this infor as I've not tried this before. But I'll politely tell the pax to give me any amount of tips as he deem fit but will not be shown on the receipt.
BTW, whenever I'm at the ToTo Booth, I'll always ask for quickpick. lol

This used to be those flat fee booking trips, flat price, so can claim with the receipt

Why set at 0.01?
thought its better run it as per normal, least touch wood, any incident, can claim insurance as a passenger
whether to collect the fare or not is another matter?

This can be a double edge sword
pax pay fare and say tipped u together with credit card, later, go make claim, later company go ask taxi company why got "extras"
then driver must go lim kopi?

Actually tell pax give cash tip, keep it seperate, won't subject to credit card 10%

j007,normally only angmo from oversea come SGP for biz trip will do this only.Local,so far what i came across is that they would give you cash as tips.

Alamak,the tips they give they can claim from their company.Seldom they will come out from their own pocket,but there are few pax who do this as what u suggest where they seperate it.

A few time, pax pay by credit card, and say round to xxxxx, I usually bo chap, just collect the meter fare
