Queue beyond the taxi stand limit....
Most MRT station taxi stands usually only allow 2-3 taxi queueing nia...

Not really, if proven that the stand got paxs waiting, you can Q as long as the Q is moving, because in the context of the a stand is to pick up paxs, Q is only in consideration if there is no paxs. But if the taxis are moving, maybe in a slower pace to pick paxs, it is not consider a Q. Alway learn to think from another angle hor.
Just like many other taxi stand, let say eh...plaza Sing. Q can be as long as 10 cabs against a long line of estimated 50 paxs, but the stand only allow 4 cabs, even sometime with TP there catching illegal parking or waiting, the marshal still waving for taxis to go in and Q, then you can see me waiting at Cathay, once near 5pm, zoom in already.

Got once, morning peak, I sent a pax to Clementi MRT...
As usual, expecting pick mango later on...
About to reach the station, wow, "human mountain, human sea"....
But.....2 traffic police park their motor bike 1 infront taxi stand and 1 before taxi stand....
Not difficult to notice, they actually are catching those private buses, illegally stopping....
But many "green lattern" when see them, like see "gui" like that, rather forgo the fare....
Many TD tio until scare, $50 fine is hard earn money you know, especially for day drivers, the authority tends to be more strict....

That's TD mentality, I can understand that from a TD perspective, but you hv to right to move in, it is no more a Q but rather a pick and go, now if you were to pick someone out of the taxis stand, that will be an offence. You can get TP booking, paxs at stand complaining about you, and other in the stand may do the same way which ultimately, will create a chaos.I believe that TP are there also to see if any illegal pick up by taxis just out of the TS, and ensure that paxs wait for their taxis at the taxis stand.
As I said again, it is all a mental block, most of us using road as a livinghood tends to be wary of TP, that can be understandable. And with it, most of us lost our logicial thinking.
