siao lah. the traditional location sign still the best.... TD can hold and wave....
some cabs put change shift + location very troublesome one....must use the remote to key in so many digits....

True, I also use traditional sign board, change shift GEYLAND, CHINATOWN, MBS, GARDEN BY THE BAY and many city area,..up to you to pick.
Then kenna call up by office, DRO said, Uncle, can use the MDT to do it, we invested alot of money for you to pick your change shift location, please use it, then I replied, "but you got no change shift Raffles City and MBS and many other cities location"
DRO replied "That is the purpose of the MDT, to control your change shift, if you insist to use those traditional methods, then please hand us back your key(s)"
Then I replied "Hello, I am only a relief hor, you go ask my hirer"

i thought ts is a night driver, how come give advise on day...haha
6am to 10am or 10 30 am mostly concertrate on pax that are going to work monday to sat. on sun is work and chunch
then after 10 30 am go tea break
after tea go market source for pax
then around 12pm concertrate more on office worker go lunch one till 2 pm

cannot use traditional sign meh???
use the LED sometimes also not very clear.....esp when it's scrolling...
then u can see the pax trying very hard to read.....and hesitate to flag.....if they are not urgent.
i use both....no one can say i wrong liao.....
but change shift must be genuine lor....else more black sheep, more rules....

There's nothing to teach, is common sense and normal human reaction...
Way before I'm still a TD, already encounter many time, pax ask me which direction I'm going before I can even open my mouth...
Night TD, very straight forward, best is to go inside CBD area....
Day TD, different lo, the area we can go is very wide, that's why, sometime TD don't bother to change sign, straight ask, meaning we don't have a definite destination, just don't go to "si koot" place can liao....

Drive days tend to be those old botak with dark dry skin uncle, drive nite shift are more younger, full of hair and better skin complex, tho some look very pale under the green neon dashboard light...eerie looks -
