Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) rates at seven gantries will go up by $1 or 50 cents from next Monday.
The affected gantries on the Central Expressway (CTE) and East Coast Parkway Expressway (ECP) follows a quarterly review of traffic conditions on ERP-priced roads and expressways, the Land Transport Authority in a statement on Monday.
Road users of two gantries on ECP (Fort Road) and the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) slip road onto ECP will have to pay $6 between 8:30am and 9am, up from $5 previously, it said.
Also, four gantries on the southbound CTE after Braddell Road and on the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) slip road into southbound CTE will be affected. An additional surcharge of one dollar will be imposed from 7am to 7:30am, where previously there was none, and rates will increase from $4 to $5 from 7:30am to 8am.
Rates at the northbound CTE before PIE will go up by 50 cents to a dollar between 5:30pm to 6pm, and by a dollar to $2 from 6pm to 6:30pm.
There are no changes to the other gantries and the next review will be in November. -

The white paper was introduced, mainly is not for the growth of GDP. Partial right nia. The main reason was that the gahmen knows the new gen of sg citizens are not likely to vote for them in the coming years so in order to secure the votes, they have to bring in new ppl to make the citizen just a snapshot in order to retain in power.
They dont even care about singaporeans, they only care about top premium singaporean citizens who are able to generate their growth to bring up their GDP tt's all. Those who are in liability, in time to come. Will be left out eventually.

One of my buddy at kopitiam said we are not car owners, why care so much, I told them, if you look a the whole picture, everyday, these business or sales car owners, trucks, lorries, pick ups and vans ply those road, and if their cost of delivery and moving cost goes up due to ERP. Who are they going to recover back the cost??
We, the streetmen on the street is going to pay for it, prices of all things you buy will go up?

Bak bak cheaper, but young bak not cheap lor, I only go for old bak, $50 consider premium liao, $150 tio con liao, even young bak bak command the most 120 only.
But the best is PCC, money in hand, then later put back in yr wallet, wash and drive again

Somtimes face/looks play a big part unless long time no live firing for 1 month, any firing range also can la.
I prefer my shooting target swee swee. But somehow the conditions are not what you expect also.

eh. dont be mistaken im WP supporter. I am neutralist. :) Just that i only support those who's place singaporeans as top priority. But to convert FT into singapore citizens, is so f easy. Already we seen FT - change - to - singapore citizen is a fact and you will see them becoming TD soon. I give them 5 years, you will start to see clone singaporeans TD on the road.
If you tell me, Lee Kuan Yew is still in power, definitely he's a leader. I will support his party cause he's a f good chief cum leader. His son? A joke of the decade. Though he comes up lots of new ideas, everyone knows what he is going to do. He's a businessman.
Why become like this? You shld ask the Papayas what they did in the 1970s to 1980s. They control birth, tt's why the problem surface up. They want the numbers, to do the balancing. But will the numbers stop once they have reached? No what. Still what can we do? No action, talk only. People are scared. It's the same old illness as in the private or public sector. Top management in comfort zone, those bottom all are dying. PAP should have 1 leader, his staffs must be oppositions. You cannot always have the 'Yes' attitude. Must always lean to discomfort and challenge their way of doing things.
PAP clearly bring out the white paper. You think they dont take action? While this news are already out and we are still debating, they have taking things into action liao. This they are pro-active. When something happens, they only in reactive mode.

Recently, in Taiwan, a army boy died during training, The defence Minister apologised to the public and resigned, the whole commanders of that unit resigned, and Mr Ma, their President, apologise openly in the public and ask for forgiveness. And all this come in the mid of taiwan looking to abolish NS volunteering by replace them with professional soldier, for us, is like regular.
But when our boys died in the army during training or in camp...the ministers can still TCSS, dine and sleep soundly.
