1. There are more cabs on the road (or rather more "green light" cabs) running ard at most times
2. Many hirers are looking for relief
Main reason: companies whacking TDs to comply to the 250km and peak hours kpi??
Can the companies actually "warn" the drivers if they cannot meet 250km, peak hours on the road and refuse to get relief???

More cabs yes but yet pax still complain bo cab leh,so far blue never disturb me even though most of the time I drove less than 250,maybe bcoz I got relief?
But my frn who is omo kena sms n fon calls fm SMRT frequently for not complying,iam not sure whether companies hv the "right" to warn the driver if they never meet the 250 mark.
We pay rental n still kena pressure n warning? Doesn't make sense right? my frn also LL,told him not happy jump ship lor but he scared die type,so best let him handle lor

U have relief sure hit 250km lah. Its per cab. Not per driver mah.
Companies can advise n warn all they want lor. TDs can also dun follow. But i think if kena complain or any offence, against company rules, sure kena boot lor.
Maybe next time all the TD agreement will state must hit certain kpi.

Ya lor,maybe they compile all the complains/warnings/never hit 250 to wack those dont follow rules type tds out,we never know bcoz there might be someone on standby to takeover...

Pls make sure they otr on6-7am or 11-12am.

Most times if u OMO,start fr 8 am to 10 pm,sure i can guaranree u can cover more than 300 km!

the near future is not so good for taxi co's.
since lta 250km, taxi no. down by at least 1k. and this is slated to go down even further.
the analysts already calculate and all confirm consolidation. cos with this kind of fares no new driver wants to come in.
compare like for like, taxi fare of 9.90 in sg is compared to 32 in new york. never even count currency conversion. no need to flame, this calculation done by transport reporters who are more versed to what is comparable fares. 1st world developed sg cannot compare to our 3rd world neighbours.
only cdg will stand steady, the rest have to start appeasing td more. if not its very easy for hirer to jump ship.

OMO will drive esp during peak (surcharge) hours. Any other time, go back and rest or relax driving.
they need the energy for peak hour driving than normal hours

That is why we teach you long ago, still dont want to listen. Join the right group, can cali makan one. A lot of tips and sharing and giudes. Senior drivers with years of experienced. Everything we see already. Which month hot, which slow, what to do when, where to go. Plus got so many benefit in our group - palringo, makan session, kopi session, chalet and can also join LV. For newbies got Khoon to guide, sumon got RSM.

I dont hate comf*ck and city cab , i got terminated by them so cannot drive for them
i called daily rental near my place in tampines , the very first question was drive 7 days can get a taxi , i said no i only drive 5 days was told no chance , i said i want auto no sampang was told call after one month no chance at all to get any now . so here you go got 1 month wait period just get a lousy daily rental taxi

Most hirers prefer relief who could drive 6-7days than those 5 days type,easier bcoz no need go find another one for sat/sun,v troublesum leh
Some hirer/relief drive 7 days n take turns to go one day off per week type also hv,like tis sun u drive full day n next sun he drive,better la,
Guess thats why those asking to drive 5 days less chance but i feel hirers will be in the losing end if they wana be too choosy,can wait till the cow come hm lol
