paxs inside cab keep coughing

i notice that when pax take my taxi,most of them tend to cough,why is it so!one reason i can think abt is air con filter dirty,so all those dust go inside pax lung and they cough all the time!can we take out filter to clean?where is the filter located?

who service the taxi? service that time just change the filters
1 air con filter and 1 air filter
twenty, thirty over bucks each niaaltho i not sure your problem is becos of filter

To clean airco just drive wind down all your window full blast your aircon for half an hour.

No need service that time then change lah, can change yourself mah, so simple, now most filter are drop in type, sonata go Song Yi auto pte ltd at verasamy road, they sell all korean cars OEM parts except car body parts, rim and tire.
Go there and tell them your sonata model, or just said taxi air filter, I think about $15 to $20, if mention my name, maybe got 20% discount.
Air filter is located behind your hand glove compartment, remove your compartment, you will see a plastic cover, remove it, slowly slide out the filter, it is white in color with black dirt, for me, because of $30 profit,
I no money to buy, so take out, bang bang swipe swipe abit with some water, then put under the sun to dry, then put back, also can lah.
And for Godsake,
Paxs coughing got nothing to do with your taxi air condition, unless you get sick and sore throat often, then maybe air quality is no good.
Must also remember, most Sick peoples take cab, sick already how to go crash with those in mrt and bus, if they cough, just ask them if they want to lower the aircon or roll down the window.
Singapore is a humid and hot tropical place, unlike pte car, you aircon is alway on and waiting for pax, so some came in and coughed is also due to sudden coldness and change of atmosphere, and for those with weaker body, then to get sick due to change of temperature,
for me, if pax cough, I cough more louder, then they stop coughing liao
All these info the other forum never teach one hor...lols

Oh, almost forget, if you put back or renew the air filter, there is a arrow mark on the filter, make sure it is facing you and also pointing upward ^ position, because air flown from below and get filtered, if you put opposite, knn, siao liao.
But if still dunno, come meet me at level 3, I charge $5 only, take those accident one and put for you.

No leh.... Aircon guy at Bradell workshop always put air filter with the ARROW facing downwards. Initially when I fix it myself I also put arrow facing upward becos common sense mah , air flow is indeed blowing upwards. But I check check check knn all workshop guys Bradell n loyang arrow face down one. Haiz.... Gave up

Went to a GP recently many waiting to see doc got cough symptoms

Actually, downward or upward also can use, it is just a filter, but once you put upward, to reuse it, please put upward, not that your mech had put downward (siao mech), then if you take it out to clean, remember to put back downward lor. If not, the dirt will flow into the cabin..then prepare to cough liao. -

Few methods, but first and foremost,Like I posted earlier, you also act coughing, cough hard and louder than pax, like as tho your lung is coming out, you see the pax quickly put a tissue or mask to protect him or herself, and for that journey, they will remain as quiet as possible. This one alway work for me.
Secondly, if pax cough, you can also do your business, I got 2 to 3 bottles of mineral water in my crown dashboard big compartment, also got a few packet of fisherman mint. So if pax cough, sell them the mineral water and mint, can also make some money mah. You notice they quickly stop coughing.
Third is you wear a mask lah, all these are part and parcel of a taxi driver day in and day out driving hazards. It is either you take it, or leave it. Leave it mean get out of taxi driving.
