For newbie, it is best to start as relief, diesel or petrol or CNG or hybrid is not going to make much different, the difference is more on luck, got paxs or not, economy, and abit of skills.Once you get a hand on with the roads, the behavorial of paxs, the know how and why paxs wait here and not wait there.,..then we come and talk about diesel, petrol, cng and hybrid, or maybe, by that time, you dun even need to take advices from us.
Set yr objectives, your targets and your discipline, fuel in whatever way you look at it, is almost the same.

When you got a lower rental type of taxi, your pattern of driving will be different also...
Many TD always thought that lower rental can clock more profit, in actual fact, don't have such good lobang 1, somehow or rather, something will hinder your progress to that ultimate profit...
My ideal combination...
Toyota Prius with diesel engine, 2.0 turbo, CDG state of the art MDT, Silver cab kind of call system with destination, Transcab type of management, chin chin chye chye, Prime taxi kind of rental, SMRT kind of meter fare(Blackie)....

I hear say the prius quite good..fuel consumption 20km/l and also engine cut off at traffic light..have fuel efficiency in the long run..
anyone got info on the latitude?

Can, why cannot, limpeh hear AP P n Go only, knn, chiong liao, but drive sampan more tiring, then also must take seasick pill hor. Piang time, I drive very fast one, sometime can see paxs, face green green, full safety belt on and holding my back seats tightly with both hands...lols

I old liao, anything also can, but for new younger driver, drive pirus in long run, you get frustrated, cos you see those turbo cabs pass by you, how to tarhan..then at traffic light, you last one to go, maybe also can get many people high beams you...lols
